Lynch originally thought that his brief encounter with this wealthy heiress would end upon his return to the Tower, and after their last parting, he hadn’t even considered the possibility of meeting her again.
Today, however, Avery came to visit, clutching her teddy bear and asking him to perform Biological Transformation. This genuinely caught him off guard.
But on second thought, this seemed to be typical of her. Sometimes she came across as dignified and elegant, while at other times she acted erratically. She was calculated and meticulous, capable of organizing things flawlessly, yet prone to sudden whims and inexplicable behavior.
Who knows what goes on in her mind? In any case, she’s rich and willing to spend—who cares?
...
The days settled into calm, and Lynch’s life returned to normal. He dove back into his routine with relentless determination—grinding! Grinding! Grinding!
He discovered plenty of fascinating knowledge in the library, and without exception, he meticulously recorded everything within his system.

Staring at the crowded data list on his panel, Lynch couldn’t help but feel elated. Once he fully mastered all this, his strength would reach yet another milestone.
Aside from theoretical learning, Lynch had not been idle in studying magic models.
One major advantage of being a Netta Apprentice compared to a Tower Outside Apprentice was unrestricted access to all public magic templates, free of charge, whereas Tower Outsiders had to scrimp and save Magic Stones to purchase them.
Lynch certainly wouldn’t miss out on this benefit; he immediately loaded himself up with a large number of magic models.
0-ring Low-level [Dust Sand Skill]
0-ring Mid-level [Earth Wall Skill]
0-ring Low-level [Spell Burning Skill]
0-ring Mid-level [Flame Pillar]
0-ring Mid-level [Tornado]
...
He loaded nearly all the low and mid-level magic templates across various elements onto his system panel, causing his magic list to swell by dozens of entries. Yet he wasn’t done.
The Tower had an enormous number of public magic templates—thousands even for Apprentice-level spells. Lynch’s plan was simple: master all of them. After all, free learning was a golden opportunity he couldn’t pass up.
If not for his level limitation, he even considered loading the High-level Apprentice templates onto his system. freewёbnoνel.com
While the Tower granted all Netta Apprentices access to magic templates, only Apprentices of the corresponding level could view and use those models. Being under-leveled could lead to Spirit backlash, harming the students.
Ordinary apprentices would go crazy at the prospect of learning so many spells—not only would it be challenging to learn them, but the sheer time and energy required would be astronomical.
For Lynch, however, this wasn’t a problem.
Mastering a system panel, enhanced by the two traits [War Comprehension] and [Scholar], made spell learning trivial for him. Casting spells during hunting missions would casually increase his skill levels by tens of points.
Public templates for mid- to low-level magic models didn’t demand much proficiency to master—moving from entry-level to mastery often required only a few thousand points. Focusing solely on these, he’d need just over ten days, perhaps even less.
Immersed in study, consumed by his pursuits, more than three months flew by.
Dark Forest, Ice Wind Valley.
Ice Wind Valley was a third-level hunting ground on the east side of the Shadow Tower. The area was saturated with Ice Element energy—its thick snow and frost-covered terrain gave rise to an abundance of Ice Element Magic Plants and Demons.
At this moment, within a section of Ice Wind Valley, several apprentices were engaged in hunting a High-level Demon: the One-Horned Snow Monster.
Though described as an encirclement, most apprentices were solely tackling the Snow Monster’s vassals—the Ice Wind Snow Worms surrounding it. Only one apprentice faced the Snow Monster head-on.
His cloak billowed amidst the frost and snow as Lynch gripped his newly purchased Witchcraft item, [Book of Truth], and began chanting a spell.
"Curse Flame · Fire Pillar!"
A Hexagram lit up beneath the Snow Monster’s feet, and a massive flame pillar shot skyward, instantly consuming the towering five-meter beast.
The Snow Monster’s snowflake-textured white fur, composed of Ice Element, began to melt rapidly under the scorching heat. It howled in agony, its enormous body scrambling on all fours to charge ferociously at Lynch, its bulging eyes burning with rage.
"Lynch! I’ll help you!"
A crisp female voice rang out from behind him. Lanice hurriedly raised her magic wand and recited a spell, quickly conjuring an Ice Barrier before Lynch.
0-ring Low-level magic: Ice Barrier.
However, with a Defense Coefficient of only eight, the Ice Barrier was no match for the Snow Monster’s furious charge. Its massive frame collided with the barrier, shattering it into pieces within just a second with a definitive crack.
The magic backlash from the broken barrier caused Lanice to tremble violently, almost losing her balance.
Without any obstruction, the Snow Monster charged straight toward Lynch, seemingly moments away from knocking him into the air. But just then, Lynch raised his right hand in a blocking gesture, summoning an invisible barrier in front of him.
