Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 307

Amelia’s expression was terrible. She went back to her desk, sat down, swigged some water, and slowly calmed herself.

Taking a deep breath, she bounced up and paced to Monique, putting on an elegant smile on her face. "Monique, how's your proposal going? Is there anything that you don't understand?"

Monique looked as though she saw the Messiah to see Amelia coming up to her. Amelia told Monique to express all her queries. Monique had been searching high and low for information, but there were still some technical queries she could not comprehend. "I did not get much out today. I got some done at home, but I blew up the computer and all the data’s gone. I'm going to retype everything. I don’t think it’ll take as long as yesterday. I think I can hand in my work if I just get these few points clear."

Monique briefly explained what had happened to Amelia.

Amelia smiled, nodding. "I was busy yesterday and neglected you. I have some spare time this morning, so let me see what I can do to help."

"That's great! Thank you so much." Monique expressed her most sincere gratitude as she looked at Amelia.

Monique had never been good at expressing herself. While she was in school, Simon was her only friend. Later on, things got worse when she got pregnant so young, which only made her feel inferior. She dared not take the initiative to prolong conversations with other people, so she did not have many friends.

It was unfortunate Monique did not meet many people like Amelia, who was nice and spontaneous.

Monique cleared a space and pulled a chair over so Amelia could have a seat.

Seeing Monique staring at her so gratefully, Amelia felt disgusted and sat down.

Monique presented her understanding of her products to Amelia. In fact, Monique had a very good idea, but the problem was how she was going to improve her presentation.

Monique proceeded to express all her doubts regarding some product knowledge, along with some technical queries.
