Zuri was high out of her mind, she giggled and then kissed Khaos, licking his lips and bit on his neck. She looked very happy, but it was because of the drug in her veins, where she couldn’t even live without it.
"Light it up for me." Zuri raised the packet and then made Khaos to burn it, letting the sweet white smoke twirled in the air, just like the shadow that surrounded Khaos. "They look beautiful together," Zuri stared at the white smoke from the drug and the shadow.
"They are," Khaos whispered, as he nibbled on her chin.
"I want more of it," Zuri replied, she tilted her head to the side, so Khaos could get more access to taste her. "This makes me feel good. Give me more..."
Khaos stared at he for a while, it was hard to tell what was in his mind right now. "Sure, I will give you everything that you wanted."
He caressed her cheek and pinned her to the bed.
Currently, they were inside the tent, while it was raining outside, the sound of rain would be able to muffle her moan and whimper, as both of them knew what would happen next if they continued.
"Remember that promised. You have broken one by letting them hurt me. You can’t keep breaking your promise to me." Zuri touched his eyes. They were still the color of blood. "After all, I can’t live without the drug."
"I know." Of course, Khaos knew. He was the one, who had made that decision for her.
Zuri ran her fingertips on his face, touching him gently, but she fixed her gaze on his eyes.
Somehow, Khaos couldn’t get back the gray color of his eyes and he knew Zuri liked gray color because of the color of his eyes.
"Why? Disappointed?" Khaos asked when her touch lingered.
Zuri shook her head. "No, I like red. I like red color now, it is a beautiful color." Zuri tilted her head and smiled beautifully while she said something very disturbing. "This is the color of blood. I like it. It is always excited me."
On the other hand, Khaos simply stared at her. The shadow around him was crawling on the tent and on the ground, as if it was a creature on its own.
However, this creature was in control because since Khaos calmed down significantly after he had his mate back. Zuri was alive.
Right now, they were on their way to the Great Palace as they would occupy that place, which meant they would engage with the people from Great Lunar Kingdom sooner or later, since the Three Deadly Ways was always an area of conflict, it was a dispute land, since three decades ago.
"Do you love me? You love me, right? Zuri asked. "Do you love me so much, right?"
Zuri pushed Khaos and now she hovered above him.
"Yes, I love you."
"You will do everything for me, right?" Zuri licked his neck and bit him.
