Theo assumed she was shy about buying him clothes for the first time. Holding the outfit against himself, he smiled. "The size is just right, and the style looks good, too."
In fact, he hadn't worn hoodies like this since college.
With a bright smile, Sierra packed the clothes away and placed them on top of the suitcase. "I know this isn't your usual style, but it's just for a few days during the New Year. You'll survive.
"Besides, you look good in anything."
Theo gazed at her, unable to suppress the smile tugging at his lips. Now, he understood why Edward was so fond of her.
Once everything was packed, they headed upstairs to rest.
…
Theo and Sierra returned to the Gray Manor early the next morning.
"Sierra, you're finally back!" Edward greeted them warmly, taking her hand with a doting expression. "I had the staff prepare all your favorite foods."
"Thank you, Edward." Sierra smiled sweetly, and her eyes were full of anticipation.
Theo watched them quietly as they chatted, completely forgetting his presence. Shaking his head with a faint smile, he stood up. "You two continue without me. I'm heading to the office for a bit."
The two of them barely acknowledged him before returning to their conversation.
With a chuckle, Theo turned and left.
…
Meanwhile, Janet was brainstorming a way to please Edward, hoping he would allocate more shares to Benson. She called him to ask whether he needed anything, only to learn that Theo and Sierra had already moved back for the New Year.
