Sophia already suffered from wounds on her forehead and her back, but Leah was now stepping on her face where her toe was on Sophia’s forehead wound whereas the heel of her high heel was on her eyeball. The pain that shot through her eyeball was so immense that Sophia could not stop shaking.

Seeing her like this, Leah laughed out happily. “Does it hurt?”

As she spoke, she rubbed her foot on Sophia’s face, and the pain on Sophia’s face increased. “Every time I see you and Charles gloating about your love affair, my heart aches more than whatever pain you’re feeling now.”

The White siblings were no match for her.

However, Charles was too biased. He stood on Sophia’s side and helped them scheme against her, and now, she was the most hated person in town, just like a rat that would be killed when it ran across the streets. She did not even have a place to live, nor did she have the means to support herself, yet he never even gave her a call!

If it was not for Sophia, things would not have turned out this way!

Sophia’s eyes were hurting so much she could not help crying, and tears rolled down her face along with the blood, dripping into her mouth and leaving a strong, nauseating metallic taste of blood in her mouth.

Her internal organs ached and her lower abdomen felt unusually bloated. The only warmth she felt on her body was the blood that rushed out from her mouth, flowing along the corner of her mouth and down her chin.

Leah had feelings for Charles, and that was the only reason she befriended Sophia. Not only had Leah framed her for murder and harmed her over and over again, Leah was now killing her baby!

Sophia mustered all the remaining strength in her body and forced herself to lift her head up. Then, she bit Leah’s calf through the thin piece of stocking and tried to tear a piece of flesh off.

Leah frowned from the pain and instantly kicked Sophia away to check the injury on her calf.

Sophia rolled away from the strong force but still kept a resentful glare on Leah.

She was worried that she might drop dead the very next second and forgot how this b*tch looked like!

“Do you hate me?” Leah checked her wound and was not too concerned. Instead, she smiled and continued, “Well, it doesn’t matter how much you hate me anymore. If I don’t get to be with Charles, why should you?”

“I really can’t understand Charles and my brother’s taste in women, to think that they actually fell for you! One gave up the Harris family’s shares for you and the other one threw away his sister for you. Do men just like idiots like you?”

She really could not wrap her head around this. She was obviously the one better matched for Charles in all aspects, and she loved him so much, so why did he choose Sophia over her?

Was Sophia capable of helping him?

No, she was only a burden!

If she could not get the man she wanted, nobody else could. At least then, she would feel much better.

“I wish we had more time to talk but we’re in the middle of the road and I really don’t want to be seen.” Leah kicked Sophia’s face a few more times before she crouched down and began dragging Sophia across the ground.

Sophia had lost all strength to speak, nor was she able to move her body. When Leah squatted down, she vomited a mouthful of blood at Leah.

What had she done to deserve this ruthless and malicious wolf dressed in sheep’s clothing?!

Leah was unbothered. She simply wiped away the blood on her and dragged Sophia into the car. “Well, everything started from a car accident so we have come full cycle now by ending everything with a car accident. Oh, there’s a bomb in the car that will explode in five minutes.”

She gave Sophia a small smile, and just like when they were still friends, she reached out to hug Sophia. “Goodbye now, Sophia. I hope we would still be friends in another lifetime, but let’s just not fall for the same guy anymore, okay?”

With that, she let go of Sophia and closed the car door behind her. Then, she walked away without another glance.

Inside the confined space, there was only the sound of the ticking bomb and Sophia’s heavy, yet slow breathing.

She was slumped on the driver’s seat, and due to how much blood she had lost, her head was pounding. Perhaps it was the fact that she might have broken a rib, she felt pain between her lower abdomen and below her chest with every breath she took.

God was truly good at making fun of people. When she desperately wanted to die, she could not die, but now that she wanted to live, her life was about to be taken away…

Leah had said that the bomb would go off in five minutes, but Sophia refused to give up and die like this.

She struggled to keep her eyes open and suppressed the pain that shot through her chest as she slowly reached out for the car door, but every time she tried to do so, she failed —— she was too weak now.
