Nicole laughed bitterly. “I feel guilty for Soph as well. Soph and Mr. Harris found out in time but if they hadn’t and they were separated just like that, it might be… for the rest of their lives.”

Sterling kept his head low and remained silent. He could not help but feel upset about this.

“Nobody is right or wrong in this scenario, the only person to be blamed is Sylvia Yates. We can’t just blame each other for what happened and ignore the real culprit here.”

“The maids at home now are quite reliable, they can look after the kids now. Where’s Soph? I want to go see her and talk about this so we can get this over with.” Nicole stood up.

It would be a lie if she said she was not sad that she had lost her arm.

However, she knew that this was Sylvia’s fault, and she did not blame Sophia in any way.

“Now’s not a good time,” Sterling said.Sophia’s bodyguard told me that she’s not feeling well so she went back to Bamboo Virtues Village to rest.”

“Her bodyguard told you that? Did Soph not tell you that herself?” Nicole replied.

Sterling nodded.

“Even if Soph didn’t have her phone, she could have at least given you a call when she got back to Bamboo Virtues Village, no?” Nicole was getting anxious at this point. “I think something’s wrong. We should head over to Bamboo Virtues Village now, and if Soph isn’t there, it’s time to call the police.”

She rushed over to the clothing stand and grabbed her coat as she spoke. Then, she proceeded to put on her coat very awkwardly as she tried to do everything single-handedly.

She had only lost her arm a few days now so she was still not used to doing things with just one hand, and in addition to how anxious she was right now, she could not even put on her coat.
