Atticus's Odyssey: Reincarnated Into A Playground novel Chapter 1071

Chapter 1071 Still Untouchable

Atticus exhaled heavily, taking in deep, calming breaths. His chest rose and fell steadily as he tried to steady his body.

Then, slowly, he opened his eyes once more.

They were still mismatched, one blue, one purple, but now a new color had entered the mix.

At the top of each iris, a sharpened slice of obsidian black etched itself, looking like a slice of pie or pizza.

But his appearance wasn't what had his attention.

Atticus raised his arms slowly and stared at his hands.

To most, they would've seemed normal. But to him? They were very different. The air around them trembled, forming faint distortions that bent light and shimmered like heat waves.

Atticus smiled, and then—

Blip.

His body vanished.

Blip.

He reappeared at the edge of the training room.

Blip. Blip. Blip.

He blinked across the space, appearing and disappearing at a speed that surpassed even the limits of his space element, at its current level.

He stopped in the center of the room, completely wide-eyed and breathless.

"This is incredible!"

This wasn't like controlling space.

It was as though he had become space itself. Space wasn't something external anymore. It was an extension of his very being.

He loved every second of it.

But he wasn't done.

He moved on, testing the other techniques of the Dimensari that he had read and learned about.

Dimensional Blades; long blades made of compressed space materialized, slicing through the air with barely a sound.

Next, Dimensional Phasing.

He activated the room's paragon-rank training bots, and they attacked instantly, unleashing flurries of brutal strikes. But as they attacked, their blows passed through him.

It was like he wasn't there. Like he existed in another layer of reality. Their fists and weapons phased through him as if he were untouchable.

Then, Dimensional Perception.

Atticus remained in place, focusing hard and ignoring the robots attacking him.

Suddenly, he saw it all.

Faint outlines of other versions of himself, reacting in different ways, dodging left, blocking, countering, blinking away.

He watched them. Studied them.

He processed countless alternate realities at once, evaluating the best course of action based on potential futures, split-second possibilities, and spatial variables.

This… was on another level.

Atticus decided to move to another power, Dimensional Duplication, trying to summon alternate versions of himself. However, no matter how many times he tried, nothing happened.

Atticus frowned.

"Are they locked… like those Auralithian abilities?"

It was just like before.

Some of the most powerful abilities, the ones that truly defined the race's power and supremacy, were sealed.

'How can I release them?'

It was frustrating. Infuriating that he couldn't get access to them. The fact that he didn't know how to release them made everything worse.

He exhaled sharply and cleared his thoughts, forcing himself to stop thinking about what he couldn't control.

Not yet, at least.

Instead, he brought up his stats, wanting to confirm what he already suspected.

Race: Tri-Core Hybrid (Sub-designation: Human–Auralithian–Dimensari)

He had gotten a new title… one that made his path clearer.
