Atticus's Odyssey: Reincarnated Into A Playground novel Chapter 1113

Chapter 1113 Twice

"It's all thanks to you that I found him, you know. Elderish here is my little creation. The one who caused the fall of the Eldorians,"

the Gardener said with a smile while staring at Atticus. But Elderish exploded instantly.

"You caused it! You bastard! Fiend!" Elderish roared. But before he could finish—

"Shut up."

Elderish's entire body contorted violently.

He tried to speak, but no matter how hard he struggled… nothing came out.

Seeing this, the Gardener cleared his throat lightly.

"I must apologize for his rude actions," he said calmly. "He might be my creation, but unfortunately… he still lacks."

"Now, where was I? Ah yes."

The Gardener's smile widened.

"This little one here… he caused the fall of the Eldorians."

His voice sounded prideful.

"You see, back then, the Eldorians possessed the world core. But they believed no one person should be a god over them. It was the most absurd thing I've ever heard."

"The strong should rule, right?"

He didn't wait for an answer.

"Still, only they knew the location of the core and how to get to it. Because of that, I approached this young one."

He gestured at Elderish, still convulsing.

"He had been little… so full of life. Easy to groom. Easy to nurture."

"I had him betray his entire race," the Gardener said with a light chuckle, "and lead the Mugrels to the location."

Then suddenly, he burst out laughing.

"But unfortunately, I wasn't there," he said, shaking his head. "And those buffoons fought for the core and ended up splitting it into nineteen parts before it eventually vanished."

"Ever since then, I've been searching for this little one. The faintest hint I got of his presence was at the buffer zone between the humans and the Vampyros."

He smiled once more.

"Because of that, I instructed the Vampyros to confirm… only for you to clash with them."

The Gardener laughed again, more freely this time.

"But thanks to that…"

He glanced at Elderish.

"I finally found him."

The Gardener then turned, staring directly at Atticus, a smile appearing on his lips like he was admiring him. But Atticus only stared back, cold and unmoved.

"Hmm—hmmm."

"Hm?" The Gardener raised an eyebrow, noticing Elderish trying to speak. "Go on, speak."

Elderish's voice broke out, sounding fierce, "Everything he promises you is a lie! Don't let him deceive you! Kill hi—"

"Shut up."

The Gardener's voice cut through. Instantly, Elderish's mouth snapped shut, and his body locked in place once more. Frozen.

Then, the Gardener raised his head again, his gaze sweeping the area before locking onto Atticus once more.

Suddenly, his killing intent surged, flooding the entire domain.

The air turned heavy. Chills ran down every spine.

Atticus's grip on his katana tightened. He felt an unimaginable amount of pressure coming from the Gardener.

"Well," the Gardener said, "that's that. Unfortunately, you've been far too much of a pain in the ass to offer you a deal… or any modicum of mercy."

He tilted his head slightly, eyes turning dark.

"But I'll tell you what."

His voice turned low.

"Willingly… kill your allies. Your entire race. Your family. And then yourself."

He smiled.

"I'll allow it. That way, you'll grant them a peaceful death, more than I ever will."

At his words, the entire domain fell silent. The expressions of everyone twisted into dread.

All notion of escaping this predicament without violence instantly shattered in their minds.

Right now… their lives rested in the hands of one person. And as seconds passed, every single gaze turned toward him.

Atticus.

The Humans. The Evolari. The Nullite. Everyone.
