(BL) Hunting The Field Guide novel Chapter 243

Chapter 243: To be a good boy, or a bad boy? That is the question.

"Rhys, um, you aren’t doing that." Kellen told him, trying to restrain his smile. He had a feeling that Rhys wasn’t going to take it well, given how...odd he was at the moment. Rhys laughed.

"Oh, I can’t agree. I feel, god, fuck, I feel like I’m a kid again. Okay. Calm down Rhys. It’s just a jacket." Rhys stepped away suddenly from Kellen, and Kellen swayed at the loss. Rhys looked him over, trying to steel his expression. "It’s just some fabric. That I’ve worn. That I’ve imagined you wearing, and nothing else." Rhys’ eyes began to glow. A vibrant golden colour and he groaned, closing his eyes. "Fuck."

Something snapped inside of him, and Kellen felt his whole body begin to tremble before he started laughing in earnest. He bent over, much to Rhys’ confusion, and laughed. He couldn’t breathe, he was laughing so hard.

"Why are you laughing?" Rhys asked, and that only made him laugh harder. He couldn’t explain it. Something about this whole situation just...tickled him.

"I just." Kellen had to cut himself off. He couldn’t speak through the laughter. Rhys watched Kellen as he laughed, his expression growing more and more strained as he watched him.

"Go ahead. Keep laughing. The longer you do it, the more of your clothes that are going to come off." His threat didn’t even make sense to Kellen. Why would it be a problem if his clothes came off?

Kellen hunched over, wheezing, and Rhys’ eyebrow twitched. He tried to keep a straight face, with firm lips, but Kellen could tell that they were twitching. He was trying not to laugh himself.

"I’m sorry." Kellen gasped. "I don’t know what came over me." Rhys grumbled.

"Well, I know what is going to come all over you if you don’t behave yourself." He warned, and Kellen snorted.

"That’s not a good threat." Kellen told him, slowly reeling in the fit of giggles that had overtaken him. "I don’t mind if you do that." Kellen replied, and Rhys’ eyes narrowed.

"You don’t, do you?" Kellen nodded, but then hesitated for a second.

"Uh, well, as long as you clean the jacket after. I really like...I really like wearing it when you aren’t around." Kellen muttered, his face burning. He felt more embarrassed discussing this than the dirty things that Rhys wanted to do to him.

"You do huh?" Rhys said, and Kellen nodded. "Do you like it more than me?" He demanded, and Kellen furrowed his brows.

"They aren’t comparable." Kellen said. Rhys was about to be smug until Kellen opened his mouth again. "The jacket can wrap around me whenever I want. You can’t." Rhys frowned, while Kellen shrugged. "What? Is that wrong to say? I know it’s not, well, romantic, but you’re a busy guy. I know this. This is what led to...some problems already. So, the jacket." He ended lamely. Kellen fiddled with the end of the handle on the cane, unsure what to do.

Especially as Rhys looked him over calmly, his arms crossed and his gaze still the simmering, dangerous gold.

"You’re playing a dangerous game." Rhys told him. It wasn’t a warning, just a statement of fact. Kellen swallowed thickly.

"Did you want me to apologise?" Kellen asked, and Rhys smirked.

"Are you just going to apologise to appease me?" He asked in return, and Kellen winced. "Then no, I don’t, but in return," Rhys moved suddenly, bending until his shoulder was aligned with Kellen’s stomach. Kellen only had a second to prepare himself before he was hoisted up, his stomach on Rhys’ shoulder, and his ass firmly gripped by Rhys’ hand. "You are going to be punished. How dare you take advantage of a poor Esper in love? I’m a delicate creature, and it isn’t just my fault that I couldn’t see you. Someone didn’t come to visit." Kellen flushed as he stared at Rhys’ ass.

"Rhys! Put me down!" Kellen protested, and Rhys smacked his ass. Kellen stilled immediately, and Rhys laughed.

"Oh no you don’t. I am not putting you down until you’ve learned your lesson. Without all your clothes on but my jacket." Kellen felt panic fill him.

"I-I’m not fully healed!" Kellen protested. "Taylor will be very upset with you!" Rhys’ hand stroked Kellen’s ass through his sweats, and Kellen flinched.

"Oh my sweet, naive child. I’m not going to do anything that’s going to hurt your injury." Kellen didn’t know what that meant, but it did not sound good for him. Rhys began to move, and Kellen knew damn well where he was going.

"No! I wasn’t-I don’t need to be punished!" Kellen protested, and Rhys laughed, tapping Kellen’s ass.

"Are you sure? Don’t you want to know more about what being a Good Boy is all about?" Rhys asked, and Kellen froze. What the hell was he saying?
