Tan chuckled while looking at Ava. She was walking towards her front door.

When he noticed her entering her house, he got into his car and drove away.

His gaze was fixed on the road as he drove to the pack house.

He was not fond of that house. Even though it was his home, he felt suffocated there.

The way his father ruled over him there, he did not like such a life. He liked to be free where no one could tell himn what to do.

After all, he was the boss of his own life.

When he arrived at the pack house, he got out of the car.

While playing with the car keys on his finger, he entered his house.

“Look at your brat!”

He heard his father’s voice and paused his steps. He turned his head and noticed that his parents were in the living

room.

He rolled his eyes at them.

“Don’t you both have any other work besides sitting in the living room? Every night I come back, I see you sitting there.”

Alpha Martin and Luna Carolina got up from the couch.

“Ian, you saw us here because every night we wait for you to return,” Luna Carolina said.

Meanwhile, Alpha Martin was glaring at Ian.

“Good to hear that. But I am not a kid whom you have to supervise. You two can go and have a sound sleep. Thank you.” 1

Though his tone was polite, there was a touch of sarcasm in his words.

Alpha Martin walked toward Ian and glanced at the keys that Ian had been playing with his finger.

“You bribed my guards to manage to get your car back,” Alpha Martin muttered.

Ian’s hand paused as he realized that he was not supposed to use all the cars for a week. It was his punishment. But he was so angry today that he called his driver this evening and asked for his car.

He clenched the keys in his fists.

Alpha Martin scoffed at him. He turned his head to look at his wife.

“Carolina, you said your boy is stubborn. What about him now? He could not even spend a day without the luxury

we provide him. How do you think he will become a head Alpha? Is that position a piece of cake?”

Carolina closed her eyes as she rubbed her forehead. She got in the way of the father and son once more.

She did not know who was more stubborn.

“Tell him to return everything, whatever he took today.”

He grabbed his father’s hand and put the keys on his palm

“You can have your car to yourself.”

His father glanced at the keys and muttered,

“You said the same thing last night but could not resist having-

“Martin, let it slide for this time,” Carolina said as she interrupted him.

Ian stared at his father with his cold eyes. His father was also looking at him.

Carolina held Ian’s arm and said,

“Go to your room: Your dad is mad. He will be okay tomorrow.”

Ian yanked his hand away from her grip and muttered,

“He is mad at me all the time. It doesn’t affect me anymore

Ian’s parents watched him going upstairs to his room. Martin looked at Carolina. “What will I do to this boy?”

Carolina lowered her head. “Maybe we should give him some time.”

Martin shook his head as he glanced at Ian’s room. “It would be a miracle if someone came into his life and taught him a lesson. He is not living in reality. This attitude won’t work in the war. To protect his pack and maintain a stable aura in front of other Alphas, he must create an image. Like the Alpha of the Thunder Howl Pack.”

Carolina raised her head to look at him. “That Alpha also has a bad reputation. People are scared of him because of his badboy image. He is young but dangerous.”

Martin moved his gaze away from Ian’s room after hearing Carolina.

He looked at her and replied,

“But he is not as disobedient to his parents as our son. That is the reason why they inherited him at such a young age.”

Carolina nodded at him. Her mind was clouded by memories from the past. She let out a deep breath, shaking the memories away.

Inside the bedroom,

Ian spent the night thinking about Ava.

He felt less heavier after telling Ava what was on his mind.

He smirked when he thought about how she was nervous when he got closer to her. He believed he would not have to make much effort to make her get close to him.

When he woke up in the morning, he considered leaving early to go to the university.
