Everyone turned their heads to lan, who had just entered the cafeteria.
They were stunned to learn that lan had ended his relationship with Nova. She was his first girlfriend. Because he never dated anyone before. One night was always enough for him to get bored with a girl.
Nova froze with his deep voice. Her heart began to race but of fear. She recalled his warning from last night. She did not expect to get caught.
Ava glanced behind Nova and noticed lan approaching them
He was getting close in her direction, which reminded her of last night when he leaned close to her in his car.
lan came to a stop next to Nova. His gaze locked on Ava’s.
Ava could see his eyes were enraged as if he was mad about something But they were not fierce, like last night when he beat the boys.
Ian averted his gaze away from Ava and looked at Nova.
Nova’s legs were shaking. She gulped and murmured,
“Ian…”
“What’s happening here?”
Nova turned silent. She did not dare to say anything.
Ian’s presence in the cafeteria made the atmosphere cold.
Abigail looked at Ian and said,
“Your girlfriend… I mean your ex–girlfriend was disturbing Ava. Tell her to stay away from her. I would break her mouth if she dared to come to bother her again. She is no longer the future Luna, so I do not think we should be afraid to approach her.”
Her words were loud enough to reach everyone’s ears. She intentionally did that to let others know about it. It would put Nova in her place.
Nova gave Abigail a glare. Abigail gave her a scowl.
“What? You were the one who asked your friends to post pictures and videos of my friend and his future boyfriend.
་་
Ian was totally calm until Abigail referred to Luke as Ava’s future girlfriend‘.
He gazed at Ava, who was now looking at Abigail.
“Anyone can like a friend. What’s with it? It doesn’t mean they need to date or something. What’s a big deal?” Ian muttered while staring at Ava.
His words caugh Ava’s attention as she looked at him.
“But if both of the people like each other, then they can date,” Ava said in reply.
Ian’s eyes darkened, which caused her to scoff at him. She had already cleared him last night that she did not want to have anything to do with him.
“Ian, are you single again?” One of the girls asked.

They had dreams of becoming lan’s girlfriend, but they never got a chance.
Without looking at her, he responded,
“Of course.”
His eyes were still fixed on Ava.
Nova felt like crying when lan admitted it; she broke into tears and said,
“Ian, why are you doing this to me?”
Ian arched his brow and turned to Nova. “Start acting again? I never loved you. We never slept either. Then what is there to cry about?”
His words shocked everyone. They could not believe that a boy like lan who needed a girl every single night had never slept with Nova.
There could be two reasons.
Either he loved her and waited for her consent, or he had no interest in her at all.
By judging that it was Ian Dawson, everyone was sure that the second reason was the real reason.
Ava made a disgusting expression as she stared at Ian. Nova was not a good girl. But Ian was degrading her in front of others. He had no value in his eyes for a relationship. He did not know how to respect women.
So she shook her head and turned to sit back on her chair.
However, she came to a halt when Ian spoke again.
“Guys, don’t mind, Nova. She was a bit upset. Well, it’s not for the breakup. We broke up many days ago. But she is upset because she saw me with someone last night.”
Ava turned her gaze to him. She shot a glare at Ian, telling him not to tell anyone about it since people would misjudge her.
Others were eager to know who Ian was with. They began to question him, trying to figure out who had caught his attention.
Ian smirked at Ava and said to others,
“I was with someone very special, you know. I can’t tell you all her name until she reveals it herself. But let me tell you all one thing…”
He turned away from Ava and looked at all of the girls sitting on the tables, who were all upset with him. “From now on, no more girls for me. Maybe it is time to be a one–woman man. What do you to say?”
Everyone glanced at each other, disbelieving in their ears.
Ava was surprised at Ian’s words as well.
She felt Abigail moving close to her and murmured,
