Extra's Death: I Am the Son of Hades novel Chapter 344

Still, it was obvious what he would say.

Morrigan clicked her tongue and looked straight at him.

"Yes, that was the plan. What about it?"

Neo didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, seeing her glare.

"Nothing. I was just curious," he said. "Let’s go. There is something else I need to do before we can return home."

Neo left the dorm building.

The crisp, cool air greeted him as he stepped outside.

He walked with Morrigan toward a small shop nestled between two tall buildings.

He went into the shop and bought a mermaid plushie.

"What’s that for?" Morrigan asked.

"Professor Anna," Neo said, recalling Elizabeth used Anna as an alias in the academy.

He moved toward the building where Elizabeth was being treated last time.

The guard at the gate stopped them.

Neo had to prove his identity before he could be allowed entry into the premises.

"Sorry, but we cannot allow you to enter, Morrigan," the guard said. "Only the Ruler Neo Hargraves has been given permission by the principal."

"Sure."

Morrigan didn’t understand why Neo was taking a plushie for their homeroom teacher and why she was not allowed to visit her.

But she kept quiet instead of questioning Neo in front of everyone.

Neo entered the building.

The cold marble floors echoed with each step as he made his way toward Elizabeth’s room.

He opened the door of her room.

…!

Neo nearly flinched.

The door was sealing Elizabeth’s Intent and aura.

"What the hell?"

Neo had trouble breathing when Elizabeth’s powerful Intent pressed down on him.

Charlotte’s and Elizabeth’s Intent were on an entirely different league.

It was like comparing a sniper and a missile.

Neo felt he would pass out if he did not leave soon.

He clenched his jaw and entered the room.

There was no way he was leaving without seeing her.

The air grew denser and heavy with the pressure of Elizabeth’s Intent, making it almost unbearable to stand.

It was hard to breathe, and his limbs felt heavier than mountains.

Neo tried to calm his trembling body.

He placed the mermaid plushie next to her bed and looked at her.

Elizabeth was unconscious, and Amelia was nowhere to be seen.

’Her condition is a lot worse than I was told about.’

After growing stronger, he could see a lot more.

There was hardly any pulse of life left within her.

Neo fused his blessing and Life elemental into Intent.

He tried to transfer them into her body.

Each moment within the room caused crushing agony to surge through Neo’s body.

Standing in front of Elizabeth’s Intent was similar to being flash banged continuously, only it caused physical and soul pain instead of blindness.

Neo tried to resist her Intent.

His blessing and Life elemental accelerated her healing.

But.

"Fuck."

It was far from enough.

What Neo was doing right now was no different from using a tap to fill an ocean.

’My Life element mastery is far from enough.’

Neo’s expression crumbled when he noticed Void corruption on Elizabeth’s soul.
