"His actions saved humanity from their destined end. But no one thanked him for that."
The One Above All – Henry's previous reincarnation – had been in a desperate situation.
With only a few minutes left to live and barely any energy within himself, he couldn't save the uncorrupted humans.
That was why…
Despite knowing some of them were alive.
Despite knowing some of them were praying to be saved.
He killed Yaleth, and it caused his own death and the humans'.
The One Above All became a hero that no one could praise. He killed millions, if not billions who had yet to be corrupted.
He was a stain on the history of humanity.
"Later, the humans from the moon repopulated the world. Many of them did not have a bloodline, but that wasn't a problem.
"The Bloodline Codex was activated. It gave everyone a bloodline from one of the Earth Gods and then, the humans – now demigods – used the treasures of Yaleth to advance Earth from Stage 1 to Stage 2.
"People had their grievances. But they had to accept the end and the new beginning," Kronos said.
Yaleth, who had been listening to everything, frowned.
"End? This would be nothing but one of their first inter-planetary battles. Moreover, since some of my colleagues knew I had the true soul spirits, they would locate Earth and come to it for the spirits."
Kronos sighed. "But it wasn't the end I expected it to be. Several hundred years later, more Outer Gods would come, and this time, our world had no one who would protect it.
"Yaleth already was stronger than everyone except The One Above All, and now four beings on par with Yaleth were coming?
"There was nothing humanity would be able to do."
Kronos never told anyone about the future.
If he did, and an unwanted butterfly effect appeared, then the One Above All might not be able to save humanity.
But Kronos couldn't leave things be.
That's why he did three things.
One was leaving behind the prophecy of Holy War where the four Outer Gods would come.
Second was building the Sky Barrier – it used Kronos' soul as a sacrifice but that was a small price to pay.
And third…
"To win the Holy War, we needed a weapon. One that was as strong as, if not stronger than, One Above All.
"That's why you were born – created, Arthur."
Kronos looked Neo in the eye.
"You don't have a mother. I used Zeus' bloodline as a base, and gave you the Bloodline of all Gods I could find, including the ones from outside.
"That's why your Traits were far more diverse than what Zeus' Bloodline should be able to have.
"And the limitless potential of Hades' Bloodline made sure you could grow beyond gene limit without consuming a Sacred Treasure."
Kronos chuckled, trying to light the mood. "Honestly, going by potential alone, you surpass even the freaks like Zeus, Daniel and Kane."
Without waiting for a response, Kronos snapped his fingers, and the scenery changed.
"I hope you don't think that you weren't real just because you are a Spell-born child. To me, you were truly my Grandson. I don't have a son though, hohohohoho."
In the new scene, Kronos was holding a silver plate.
