"I don't…" Xie Jie replied with a frown. However, in his heart, he was certain that the woman must have been scared off by the mer who beat her up. "You are such a prince," Mo Qiang chuckled when she heard Xie Jie's response which earned her a hard glare. She cleared her throat and then said, "Anyway you are not wrong. That woman should indeed be ashamed of what she did but the truth is that is how the world works. You might think that you would have easily dealt with Nan Yan if you had shown him you might but that's not how it was going to be."

"If you had hit him, he would have done everything in his power to stop you from working as an actor because as you can already see, he has more power. More influence and more connections."

A furrow settled on his face, he had to admit what Mo Qiang said did make sense but, "My mother said that strength is power.."
