"Croaky, do you feel sick?" Mo Qiang asked the little frog who was lying on the floor. The frog spirit groaned as he somehow managed to nod but even that action of his seemed to be full of pain.
When Mo Qiang saw that the little frog that usually jumped around was now lying on the ground like some sickly creature, she couldn't help but worry.
Seeing Croaky like this Mo Qiang had no idea what to do, she turned to look at Mo Xifeng and questioned, "Should we take him to the vet?" As she spoke Mo Qiang picked Croaky up from the ground and let him hug her.
"I don't think that a vet can treat him," Mo Xifeng said the very same thing that was in Mo Qiang's head. After all Croaky was a spirit, how could a vet treat him?
But were they going to leave Croaky alone to suffer until he gets better?
"There is no need to worry about him," Xiao Jiao looked down at the frog spirit who was making a mountain out of a molehill.
She was caught in the middle of getting electrocuted to death together with Mo Qiang, and yet she did not even let out a groan and Croaky was acting as if he was going to die.
Xiao Jiao harrumphed and said, "It is because of the toxins inside of his body. He is a spirit, so there is no way he would die. You just need to squeeze the toxins that are being released by his skin and nothing else."
"In short—"
"In short it is the classic example of stuffing one's self," Xiao Jiao spoke with a disgusted look on her face as she glanced at the little frog. "He is a frog spirit and they are known for even digesting the most toxic fruit of the spirit world. I bet that Croaky liked these sunshine roses as they suited his taste and ended up eating a lot."
Now his stomach was aching as he ate too much of them. No wonder he suddenly made an appearance in the greenhouse, he wanted to snack on these grapes.
Mo Qiang: "…"
She looked down at the little frog spirit who was still pretending to be sick and was rather amused.
This naughty little thing, he nearly caused her to faint in worry and it turned out that he had just overstuffed himself.
She reached out and then patted the head of the little frog spirit. She should have known, after all, that there was no way anything normal would happen to her.
"Well then, since you are feeling sick," Mo Qiang said with a dark look. "Let's start dealing with the excess amount of toxins that you have eaten."
"CROAKY?!!" The little frog flinched in terror. He thought that he was sneaky enough but somehow his master still found out that he ate the sunshine rose grapes.
"Croaky! Croak! Croak!"
[I really did not mean to but the grapes were so delicious my beautiful master that I could not help myself.]
"Croaky-croak! Croak croak, croak!"
[ I swear I did not mean to eat too many of them, master! Please forgive as the world has forgiven you for being so beautiful.]
The little frog was nearly on his knees as he begged Mo Qiang. Truly, he did not mean to eat so many sunshine rose grapes but what was he supposed to do when they tasted so good?
By the time he realised that he had eaten too many of them, it was already too late.
