Her Hidden Crowns (Suzanne and Austin) novel Chapter 333

Cheryl lowered her head in shock and hurriedly wrapped her arms around herself. Tears streamed down her face as she choked out the words, "Don't do this. I'm scared."

Fear gripped her chest as she tried to retreat, but the wooden recliner was only so big. After just one or two steps, she had nowhere left to escape.

Marley's entire body exuded a terrifying chill. The thought of her entering the filthy world of the entertainment industry filled him with uncontrollable rage.

He stepped forward and pressed Cheryl beneath him, then grabbed her wrists and pinned them against the wall behind her. She struggled, but it was useless.

Holding her wrists with one hand, he reached for his belt with the other. His voice was cold as ice. "Since you can't live without men, let me satisfy you."

Cheryl's eyes widened in horror as she watched Marley begin to undress himself.

He wouldn't…

She thrashed wildly, desperately trying to break free. "You can't! This is sexual assault! I'll sue you!"

However, her protest was only met with his increased rage. He sneered, "You've become bolder."

Cheryl cried and screamed until her throat turned raw. Then, she begged desperately, "Please, let me go."

If breaking up with him back then had been a mistake, then the pain he inflicted on her now was more than enough punishment.

Her body ached in agony as she was slammed against the wooden recliner. It felt like her bones were shattering with each impact. But the physical pain was nothing compared to the pain in her heart.

Marley continued to hold her down as if this was the only way he could feel that she was still his. He had descended into madness.

In a hoarse voice, Cheryl whispered, "Marley, I hate you."

It was just three simple words, but it made Marley hesitate for a brief second. But then, he only turned more ruthless.

A long time later, Marley slumped onto the chair beside her. His cold gaze landed on Cheryl's disheveled figure as he ordered, "You're not allowed to enter the entertainment industry."

Cheryl's head snapped up, her tear-filled and swollen eyes glaring at him. "I'm going."

This was her only chance to turn her life around. She had to go. Her mother's medical bills, her dreams—everything in her life depended on this.
