Who the hell did Austin think he was? He needed to have a good look in the mirror. Was he not afraid that his act would be exposed soon?
If Warwick didn't get fired, it would be embarrassing for Austin.
Warwick wanted to say something when his phone suddenly rang. It was from the company. He was perplexed, wondering how it could be so coincidental.
Suzanne raised an eyebrow in amazement. Gabriel was pretty efficient.
Lillian didn't know that it was a call from the company and continued mocking Suzanne, "Suzanne, only a useless person would find a useless boyfriend."
Warwick answered the call and greeted politely, "Good evening, Mr. Earl—"
Albert Earl, who was on the other end of the line, barked, "Warwick, you're fired!" He did not know what trouble Warwick had gotten into to warrant a call from the CEO's office, demanding that he be fired.
Warwick was taken aback. Chills ran down his back, rendering his limbs numb. He asked nervously, "Mr. Earl, why? You can't fire me."
What replied to Warwick was only the disconnect tone.
Warwick looked at his phone listlessly as if his energy was completely depleted. He murmured, "I'm finished."
Why was he fired out of the blue? Everything went well at work today. Albert even told him that if he worked hard, his future would be limitless.
Now, everything that he was proud of was completely gone.
Lillian started to panic as well. She looked at Warwick anxiously and asked, "Honey, what's going on?"
Was he really fired?
