His Unveiled Passion novel Chapter 406

Wynn hurriedly stopped the car by the side of the road. Tessa called the police and informed them of what was happening before she threw the door open. "Wynn, follow me!" she yelled.

The night was as dark as ink when they made it to the entrance of the bar. Neon lights flashed periodically, illuminating their surroundings in a hazy glow.

Two men were hoisting up a woman who appeared to be intoxicated out of her mind. They were followed by four other men. The six men had mean faces, their eyes darting around impatiently. They looked like beasts in the night, waiting for an opportunity to attack.

Tessa dashed over to them and roared, "What do you think you're doing? Let go of her!"

The air around them reeked of the stench of alcohol.

Marissa's face was flushed, and her eyes were dazed. Her expression was a mixture of confusion and helplessness. "It's hot…" she murmured. It's so hot… It feels terrible."

Tessa narrowed her eyes at the two thugs who were holding Marissa upright. The way she was behaving was extremely unnatural and wildly different from how she behaved when she was drunk on alcohol.

"Did you drug her?"

Fury blazed in Tessa's eyes as she demanded an answer from the men.

The men's expressions looked especially twisted and distorted under the flashing red neon lights.

A heavily tattooed man in a black tank top sneered at Tessa. "Oh, another beauty has arrived. What's up? Do you want to have fun with us too? I wouldn't mind taking you along with us."

The men around him erupted into a round of cackles upon hearing his words. A few passersby walked by their group. Some looked at them curiously while some quickened their footsteps and hurried away as if scared they would get involved in an unpleasant situation.

Tessa scoffed. "Some people truly have no idea how appalling they look. I think you should take a look in the mirror before trying to shoot your shot."
