"Kill that bitch!" the tattooed man roared.
He was obviously the leader of the thugs. The rest of the men rushed toward Tessa and Wynn upon hearing his order. They targeted Wynn first with the intention of overwhelming her with their superior numbers.
Distracted by Wynn, the thugs had forgotten all about Marissa. Tessa rushed over to her side to support her. "Ms. Scott, wake up! Ms. Scott, it's me, Tessa."
Since the thugs had their hands full dealing with Wynn, Tessa used the opportunity to guide Marissa to her car. "Stay strong, Ms. Scott. I'm going to send you to the hospital."
The thugs rushed at Wynn in a rage, but had severely underestimated her fighting skills. She was dressed in a black, form-fitting outfit. Her eyes were as sharp as blades, and her muscular build gave off the impression of a panther stalking its prey in the night.
Her movements were nimble as she maneuvered between the men, efficiently dealing blow after blow at any who dared to approach her. Her punches were lightning-fast and landed precisely where she knew would hurt them the most.
A well-aimed elbow strike sent a bald man collapsing to the ground in a heap. At the same time, a beautiful roundhouse kick landed squarely on another muscular man's face, immediately causing the man's nose and eyes to swell up from the powerful impact while blood spurted from his broken nose.
A murderous glint flashed in the lead thug's eyes as he rushed toward Wynn. She used his momentum against him, parrying his blow before hoisting him over her shoulder and slamming him against the concrete, hard. The entire fight lasted only 10 minutes before Wynn defeated all the thugs.
The men were all groaning and whining as they lay on the ground. They couldn't even get up, their strength having fled. Wynn glared at each of them. There wasn't even a hint of pity in her fierce gaze.
She was a woman of few words, preferring to speak with her actions. The men hadn't even been able to touch a single strand of Wynn's hair before she defeated them.
The fight proved just how terrifying Wynn's fighting prowess was. She had taken on six men by herself, but she didn't even have a scratch on her after the fight was over.
The police that Tessa had called earlier had also finally made it to the scene.

Sooo~ Chapters 310-318 were just a repeat of Jacqueline’s punishment, official expulsion from the Jacobson family, and arrest. With few changes since Tessa and Stephen are not together this time. So Tessa didn’t witness how Jacqueline was tortured at Stephen’s base, though at least Tessa was still called over and witnessed how Stephen officially expelled Jacqueline from the Jacobson family and how Stephen’s subordinate made Jacqueline grovel in front of Tessa. Lol. I hope Jacqueline’s really out of the story now....
Also a lot of chapters were missing here. I went back to the application where it was originally published that’s why i know that this site is not reliable...
Fucked up book! Seems like the authors were not talking to each other. LOL. Yes authors, because of the inconsistencies....
The story went downhill after pg200 1. Why is Jacqueline back… she was expelled from the family already 2. There was no reason for Rowena to be mad at Tessa 3. The Jacobson already knows that Stephen wants to get back witb Tessa after they deal with James, so why is Rowena pushing hard? LOL 4. The family also knows that Stephen and Nancy have some sort of deal. The story was okay from page 1-199, but clearly it’s a thumbs down. I can deal with grammatical errors, but story errors is just different now....
This is funny! Jacqueline was also the culprit why James knew that nancy was Stephen's cousin. So, really, what happened when steohen tortured jacqueline hahah...
I wonder how many authors does this book have? Suddenly jacqueline was back and continue to bad mouth tessa. And was stunned that tessa knows her feelings about stephen. And then rowena was freaking mad at tessa too; because there werw multiple instances that tessa sharp-tongued her. 🤣...
What is wrong with the story flow? At chapter 160-164 there’s this whole thing about Stephen revealing in front of all the Jacobsons family members about Jacqueline’s inappropriate feelings towards him and her involvement in murder. There’s even this “Just like that, Jacqueline was officially expelled from the Jacobson family. Stephen then promptly handed her to the authorities.” So I was already glad the bitch is out of the picture. And then suddenly at chapter 236, Jacqueline appears again like nothing happened, still being the adoptive daughter of the Jacobson family and the family being unaware of her feelings for Stephen. Seriously? Doesn’t make sense anymore....
The latest update is just a repetition of the previous chapters...
