Severin frowned as he observed the menacing aura coming from the nine quasi-royal celestials and several hundred true immortals on the other side. They exuded a pure sense of malevolence, and it was Severin's first encounter with an extraterrestrial practitioner in the flesh.
Their appearances closely resembled that of humans, yet they possessed a peculiar power capable of distorting the laws of heaven and earth. The power seemed to lack a discernible source and defied detection. Severin found himself mildly astonished as he beheld the extraterrestrial practitioners standing amidst the chaotic void with only their physical forms.
Even a flawless true immortal would succumb to the unforgiving grasp of the void. Without the protective shroud of the Celestial Realm's fetal membrane, a true immortal would likely face utter annihilation by the chaotic energy within the boundless chaotic sea.
The brooding state of the extraterrestrial practitioners on the opposite side of the border sea, coupled with the sinister countenances of the newcomers, prompted Severin to communicate telepathically with the Hartberg. "Hey, have those extraterrestrials lost their minds? Are they intent on provoking a war among the royal celestials? Are they not afraid of sparking conflict?"
Hartberg sneered and retorted, "They don't care. They're itching to instigate war among the royal celestials! Do you know how many royal celestials those extraterrestrials boast? They have eight!"
Severin snapped back to his senses and chided himself upon hearing this revelation. The extraterrestrials had eight royal celestials in contrast with the Celestial Realm five. It would be foolish for the Celestial Realm to instigate the conflict. Moreover, those extraterrestrials harbored two genuine quasi-celestial regents who were still in slumber, and their might was so strong that even Armin had to wield the sword of divine will against them!
It thus came as no surprise that the Celestial Realm had to station manpower at the border to thwart the growing void and prevent such foreign forces from breaching its boundaries. However, with the impending realm convergence, such a defensive strategy saw a marked reduction in efficacy. Once the Devil Realm merged with the Celestial Realm to give rise to the ancient Bleu Celestial Realm, the border sea would vanish, and the laws of heaven and earth that barred extraterrestrials from entry would dissipate.
In such a scenario, a cataclysmic royal celestial war that could shake the very foundations of the world would inevitably erupt.
