Logan suppressed his heavy breathing, his searing heat almost melting her.
Selina’s expression changed as she quickly spoke, "Logan, let’s get out of here..."
"Be good. Let me take care of your revenge first."
His fingertips lightly brushed against her lips, lingering on their softness for a moment as he forced down the intense desire surging within him. Then, his icy gaze swept over the others.
Mr. Wilson lay on the floor, struggling to get up, and roared in frustration, "Who the hell are you? How dare you ruin my fun?! Guards! Take them down!"
Logan let out a cold laugh.
Selina felt a sudden whirl as Logan held her close. In just a few swift moves, he had dispatched Mr. Wilson’s men.
Logan stepped on Mr. Wilson’s wrist, his voice as frigid as ice. "Was it this hand that touched her?"
"Ahhh—!" Mr. Wilson screamed like a pig being slaughtered. "Stop! Stop, please!"
Natalia was completely stunned, her gaze fixed on Logan.
She had never seen such a handsome, charismatic man before!
And he was standing up for Selina? Could they possibly know each other?
No, no, there was no way Selina knew someone like this. He must have just been disgusted by Mr. Wilson’s actions and stepped in to deliver justice.
She couldn’t let Selina steal this man from her!
Tears welled up in Natalia’s eyes as she covered her mouth, pretending to cry. "Sir, please don’t act impulsively. This is a family matter. Sister, say something! Dad is only concerned about you and doesn’t think you should be in a bar. How could you hurt someone like this?"
James quickly caught on and added, "Exactly! What’s a college student doing in a bar? I scolded you a little, and now you’re throwing a tantrum?"
From Logan’s embrace, Selina lifted her head. "A family matter? A family matter is when my father tries to force me to sleep with Mr. Wilson and his friends for one night?"
The bar patrons, who had been silently watching, turned their incredulous gazes on James.
Could this be her real father? Forcing his daughter to spend the night with five or six old men—how could he even think of such a thing?
James’s face flushed with anger. "You’re spouting nonsense! It’s you who took a fancy to Mr. Wilson, and you—"
Thud!
Before he could finish, Logan’s foot slammed into James’s stomach. Blood spurted from James’s mouth as he trembled. "You... you..."
Logan’s icy gaze swept over him. "Get out."
The bar’s security guards quickly stepped in, dragging James and the others outside.
Natalia had never been treated so roughly before; her clothes were torn as she screamed hysterically, "What are you doing?! Why are you throwing me out?! Ah!"
James, furious and unwilling to back down, bellowed, "Do you know who I am?!"
The bar manager looked down at him with a mocking smile. "I don’t care who you are. Offending *him* means you’re finished. Now get lost!"
James had never been so humiliated. He wanted to rush back in and slap Selina, but dizziness clouded his vision. "Ungrateful girl... Curse you..."
Natalia, sobbing, climbed into the car. "Daddy, why does Sister treat me like this? Aren’t we family?"
Why? Why was Selina so lucky?
Grinding her teeth, Natalia suddenly had an idea. Taking out her phone, she snapped a few pictures of Selina.
Today’s humiliation—she would make Selina pay for it a hundredfold!
Inside the bar, after the bystanders had been cleared out, Logan’s breathing grew heavier.
Selina felt his embrace grow hotter, and she shivered. His fingertip brushed against her lips again, pressing lightly.
Logan’s gaze deepened, dark and intense, fixating on her neck like a wolf studying its prey, deciding where to sink its teeth.
The heat of his gaze felt almost tangible, slowly melting Selina.
Her body weakened, her cheeks flushed. As though she knew what might happen next, she shook her head softly.
Panic set in as Selina stammered, "Logan, y-you need to calm down!" freeweɓnøvel.com
