(Six Months later)
"Alaric. Someone is here," Valerie got up in the cell and tried to hear the voices.
"Go to sleep!" Alaric said in a bored voice, "There is no one. Dorian already left three days back," he reminded her, and went back to sleep.
But Valerie could hear voices coming from the corridor. By now, other cell inmates had also gathered near their gates.
They never tried to communicate with other residents, nor did they see each other’s faces.
This time, Valerie was right. There was someone indeed.
Usually, Dorian’s servants used to visit them to provide them with meals. The rest of the time, they didn’t even bother whether the prisoners were alive or dead.
This was an unusual time to visit this private jail.
Valerie felt a flicker of hope flashing through her body when she heard metal doors clanging against the walls.
Someone was unlocking the doors of those mini jails.
She could hear people’s voices talking to each other.
"Alaric. Someone is here to save us," she told him in a whisper, trying to suppress her enthusiasm.
God knew, after how many days, she would see the sunlight.
Holding the bars of the metal gate, she felt Alaric standing beside her. He yawned loudly, and Valerie sniffed her nose in disgust. The foul smell of his mouth was unbearable.
They both could hear others, leaving happily with joy and relief.
"They are freeing Dorian’s prisoners, Alaric," Valerie clasped her hands together, trying to hold back her tears.
Ah freedom. After such a long time.
The first thing she would do after getting out of here, was to find that bitchy daughter of Marissa and Rafael and punish her. Aniya was responsible for all the mess they were in.
In the dimly lit corridor, a man who looked like he was wearing a police uniform, opened the last gate in front of their cell.
Valerie was waiting impatiently to get out of this hellhole. She held Alaric’s hand, but he freed it without wasting a second.
As if he was asking her silently to keep her hand off him.
The uniformed man followed the young prisoner from the cell and headed to the exit.
"Hey! Hey! Stop!" Valerie banged her hands desperately against the metal door, "Open this one, too. We’re still here. Don’t forget us."
The man looked over his shoulder and smirked. He didn’t even respond to her and walked away. Now there was no voice in the corridor.
Nothing was there except that deafening silence.
"What do you think you’re doing?" Alaric screamed when he realized what had just happened, "How can you leave us here, you fu*cker?"
He even smacked the door loudly. But there was no one to hear them. Everyone had moved out, leaving them behind.
What both of them didn’t know was that... from now on, they would be there on their own. The man who was responsible for providing them with food would never come back.
In the world’s eyes, Dorian Maxwell’s house would be a deserted place. And no one would ever bother to visit the place as it was sealed by law enforcement agencies.
They both had to survive on their own.
The man who was dressed in a police uniform, sent the prisoners by a van. He was walking to his car when the phone in his pocket started ringing.

I was into the story but then the translator who was translating it for whatever language to English stopped translating half the words are half English and another language it's very hard to follow a book when you can't understand what the written word is translators need to do better...
