With the loud music, the doors to the church opened, and Abigail Sinclair entered holding her father’s arm.
Even with the veil covering her face, everyone could sense her radiant glow. It was weird that while walking down the aisle, she remembered how she was about to walk into a similar church for Dorian Maxwell.
It took all her willpower not to shudder at the memory. Thank God Liam helped her that day. She raised her eyes and found Liam, seated in the front row with a mischievous grin. He was thinking the same.
Abigail closed her eyes and sighed before he eyes turned to the man who was waiting for her on the stage. Celine, Ariel, and Lisa had already taken their places as bridesmaids.
She was pulled back into reality when Rafael spoke to George, while handing her over to him, "Take care of her."
"I will!" George assured him with a solemn smile.
Abi climbed the stairs and stood beside him. George didn’t leave her hand until the priest announced that now he could kiss the bride.
Their close friends hooted when George not only kissed her but also prolonged it.
"I love you, Mrs. George Donovan," He told her with a gentle smile, and Abigail’s heart skipped a beat at the sound of it.
Mrs. George Donovan.
"I love you too, Mr. George Donovan," she whispered and then lifted herself on her toes to kiss his chin.
The couple didn’t give a damn what everyone was doing around them. They were too busy, looking into each other’s eyes.

At the grand reception, Abigail was over the moon when she met Uncle Joseph and Aunt Sophie. Their son couldn’t make it to the wedding, but they flew in just to meet her.
"I can’t believe you’re back, Abi," she had told her in a teary voice.
The grand hall was buzzing with laughter, music, and clinking of glasses.
Guests were enjoying the lavish dinner and were happy with the fact that the media were not there to disturb the celebration.
George and his bride made their way through the crowd, stopping at each table to thank their guests. Every few minutes, George would lift Abigail’s hand and press a soft kiss on her fingers.
"You’re breathtaking, Mrs. Donovan," he said, brushing his thumb over her knuckles.
"Yeah," she rolled her eyes, "You’ve said that several times already."
"And will say it a hundred times more," he smirked, pulling her to him to kiss her lips.
"Oh, man!" Angela nudged Ariel, "He’s completely whipped," she muttered, giving a disappointed look to Alex, who wasn’t even looking at her.
Ariel grinned, "And my sister deserves every bit of it."
George and Abigail were making their way to another table when George suddenly stopped, his eyes wandering over Abigail’s face, looking for signs of exhaustion.
His bride seemed to be losing energy, "Ladies and gentlemen," he announced, his arm tightening around her waist, "My beautiful wife needs rest," he looked down at her gorgeous face, "We have an early flight to catch in the morning."
"F... flight?" she blinked at him.
"I booked us a honeymoon in Switzerland, love. You need a full night’s rest before we leave," he kissed her head, "We are spending this night at the hotel."
Celine, who was standing nearby, gasped, "Switzerland? That’s so romantic!"
They met Rafael and Marissa, whose eyes were wet.
"Don’t worry, Daddy. I’ll be back to our house... soon," she promised, kissing their cheeks.
"I know, Princess," Rafael nodded at George, "Be good to her."
George dropped another kiss on his wife’s hand before scooping her up and taking her to the exit.
Among those warm goodbyes, Abigail had a feeling. Her family would cry once they went back home.
She was hell right.
***
After helping her out of her wedding dress, George carried her to the hotel’s bathroom to soak her body in the bathtub, where he had already filled warm water with fragrant rose petals.
"Umm," Abigail moaned with half-opened eyes.
"Liked it?" George asked her before joining her in the soothingly warm water.
Abigail swallowed hard. His closeness and this intimacy...
Gosh! She wanted to attack him.
What was this baby doing to her body?
"George..." she whispered, and her husband understood.
"My love..." he kissed her temple from behind. Abi wanted to turn around, but he stopped her by placing his hands on her waist, "Let me change the positions, you sexy mama."
Abigail couldn’t even laugh. She chewed her lips to control the emotions, his na*ked body was evoking in her.
"What would I have done if you hadn’t found me and come to me..." she muttered, looking into his eyes. Her heart sank at the thought of how she was letting him slip, thinking that he was involved with her sister.
What a fool I was! I would have died without him.
"Hey, love," George wiped her eyes and then kissed the tears away, "No crying tonight, okay?" he warned her gently and pulled her to him.
Abigail felt weird. First, she wanted him to make love to her, and now she wanted to cry on his chest.
Or maybe both?
The moment their chests bumped, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her body into him.
"Abigail!" George groaned in a breathless whisper, "I want to be inside you."
Abigail smiled secretly with tear droplets still on her cheeks, "Then who is stopping you, husband?"
George thought he heard her wrong, "What did you call me?" he pulled back to look at her face.
"I said," she brought her mouth close to his ear, "Fu*ck me, husband!"
In the next few minutes, she was holding the edge of the bathtub tightly while he was pumping inside her.
After that, he took her to bed and made slow love, taking his sweet time in worshipping every part of her body.
Abigail protested and screamed in frustration at this agony he was causing her, but George did what he wanted to do.
And that was to give her pleasure that no man could ever give to his woman.
After sheer torture, when he entered and started moving inside her, Abigail’s nails dug into his shoulder blades.
"I can never get enough of you, my love," he said while moving, "Tell me, you love me, Abigail. Tell me."
