If the Hamiltons' bodyguards hadn't thrown their weight around, Tyler wouldn't have been separated from Nadine. When he saw Nadine again, he immediately bombarded her with questions, concerned she might be upset with him.

Nadine looked up from the medical file and smiled at him. "Don't worry, Tyler. I'm fine, really. He didn't do anything to me." Then, she returned her attention to the file in her hands.

Tyler, on the other hand, felt a little displeased, as she didn't even ask how he was doing or show him any concern. He had been so worried about her, always thinking of her first no matter what happened. Yet here she was, acting as if nothing had ever happened, completely unconcerned about him.

A wave of frustration washed over him as he stared at Nadine, who was still engrossed in the medical file. His Adam's apple bobbed, and the words that were about to roll off his tongue turned bitter.

He looked at Nadine, who was buried in her medical records, with a resentful expression. After a while, he couldn't hold back any longer and asked softly, "Nad, don't you care about me at all? Aren't you worried about how the Hamiltons' bodyguards treated me?"

Tyler yearned for her concern and hoped she would show she cared.

Nadine looked up from the medical records and gave him a slightly apologetic smile. "Don't worry, Tyler. The Hamilton's bodyguards know their limits, so they would never hurt you."

She continued, "But I do want to remind you that the Hamiltons are not people you want to mess with. It's best if you don't provoke Brad anymore because we're no match for him."
