Realizing his intention, Valerie shrank back slightly, but still couldn’t avoid it….

When she woke up the next day, Valerie instinctively looked to her side. Aiden was already gone.

She struggled to get up from the bed and glanced at the small electronic clock on the bedside table. It was already 9 am.

She added, “Aiden just took over as president, and if this project goes well, it’ll win over the old stubborn executives…”

Kelly looked around and whispered, “And put Uncle Louis and Uncle Wesley in their place. Hmph!”

Valerie smiled. “He will. He’ll do brilliantly, and the project will bring great profits to the company.”

Kelly asked with a mischievous grin, “How would you know?”

Valerie just smiled without answering. Of course she knew. In the past timeline, this very project was what made Aiden one of the most sought–after figures in the business world.

He rose several levels in status overnight, becoming someone who could be spoken of on equal footing with Waylon himself. But Valerie said none of

this.
