“What time do you get off? Let’s grab a drink after work.”

Seymour glanced at his watch. “Not today. Ambi asked me to pick him up after school. I need to read picture books with him tonight.”

“Read what?” Roger had never heard of this term.

Seymour sighed softly. Since Felicia wasn’t home, she didn’t even check. the messages in their son’s class group chat. Last time, Ambrose came home crying because he was the only kid in class who didn’t finish his homework. That was when Seymour learned that the kids‘ homework was assigned in the group chat.

Seymour joined the kindergarten class group chat for the first time and saw the teacher tagging everyone to assign reading homework with picture books.
