Chapter 125
The voice was unmistakable.
Felicity stopped struggling and cursing, furrowing her brows as she peered through her messy hair toward the source of the sound.
Sophia, dressed in a light purple gown, was walking toward them with slow, graceful steps. Her tall and slender figure, along with her strikingly beautiful, makeup–free face, drew all eyes to her.
The sheer elegance she exuded was both dazzling and attention–grabbing. As everyone’s gaze fell upon Sophia’s face, their eyes couldn’t hide the awe that flickered in them.
Especially with the haughty, aristocratic air surrounding Sophia, she stood out even more amid a sea of colorful outfits, her beauty rivaling the brightest of gems.
“Sophia?” Felicity squinted her eyes, stunned, blurting out her name in shock.
Chloe’s attention also shifted toward Sophia.
When her eyes landed on Sophia’s delicate, coldly beautiful face and the light purple gown she was wearing, her pupils involuntarily widened. Her soft, tear–filled expression immediately froze, a faint twist of something almost like resentment flickering in her features.
That gown was the latest collection from Luminous, the very same piece that had just been released by Luminous last month, the only one in the world.
It was the custom design Chloe had desperately wanted and had repeatedly begged Felicity to get for her.
“How could this be? Chloe’s mind raced as she wondered, “Why is Sophia wearing the exclusive Luminous gown?”
Chloe’s breath quickened. She couldn’t tear her eyes away from that light purple gown, as though she wished she could find any sign of imitation or flaw in it.
Sophia, hearing the shocked exclamation, raised an eyebrow slightly, her gaze drifting over to the two women being held back by security. A faint look of surprise crossed her face.
She hadn’t expected to run into Gloria and Felicity here, nor that they would end up fighting.
They were supposed to become family in the future, and yet here they were, at odds.
With a look of mild amusement, Sophia swept her gaze over them, before arching an eyebrow and glancing at Finn. “What‘ going on?”
Since yesterday, after the ownership of the Raffle Hotel had changed hands, all of the hotel’s senior managers had be given Sophia’s photo and briefed on their future boss.
Now, seeing Sophia in person, Finn was taken aback. She was even more breathtaking than in the pictures. Her beauty was overwhelming, dazzling.
As Sophia merely cast a cold glance his way, her eyes unreadable, Finn felt her presence and authority pressing down on him with just as much weight as the general manager’s.
Finn quickly moved to stand beside her, a hint of nervousness and caution in his expression. “I’m not entirely sure about the details. These two ladies were supposed to be dining here, but for some reason, they started arguing while walking around. I’ve already informed their families.”
The Raffle Hotel had only just changed owners, and now, it was the new owner herself catching a mess in her own domain. Finn felt like crying.

Chapter 125
If Ms. Roscente decides to make an example out of this, Fll be the one dragged into it, Finn thought, worry creeping in
At the mention of the family being called, both Gloria and Felicity’s faces immediately changed. “Who told you to contact our husbands? We were just messing around, Gloria snapped.
“Yeah, we were just playing. Did you ask us before notifying our families?” Felicity added
If their husbands came and saw them in this state, they’d both be in for a serious scolding
However, their protests didn’t even earn a glance from Finn. He stood respectfully beside Sophia, a clear look of unease and concern in his expression.
Chloe’s heart skipped a beat as she watched the scene unfold, a chilling sense of foreboding creeping over her.
Even though she had never been to Raffle Hotel, she knew exactly what it symbolized in Virelia.
Even a regional manager at this hotel was someone whose presence could make the most powerful figures in Virelia act with
respect.
Even Howard would show Finn deference if he were standing here right now. But now, Finn was standing before Sophia with a posture of respect and politeness, almost as if he was afraid of her.
How is this possible? Sophia shouldn’t even have the right to appear in such a high–end restaurant. Could it be because of Tristan? Chloe thought to herself.
As soon as she thought of that cold, aloof man, Chloe immediately scanned the room, but Tristan was nowhere to be seen.
Tristan’s
‘s not here. Then who is Sophia with? Has she hooked up with some other wealthy man? Chloe’s mind raced.
Chloe bit her lip, staring jealously at Sophia’s face, one so beautiful it could captivate anyone.
“I see,” Sophia replied, her voice cool and distant as she listened to Finn. Tve read the restaurant’s rules. Fighting in public areas of the restaurant is considered disruptive to normal operations and severely damages the restaurant’s reputation
“So, please escort both of them and their families out.”
