Rise Above The Betrayal (Sophia and Tristan) novel Chapter 32

Chapter 32

With a shocked look on his face. Gary pulled his head back out of the window and kept driving in a daze

His mind was racing. Sophia came from the richest Roseente Family! Was that real daughter of the Stewart Family out of her mind? Why would she give up being part of the wealthiest family to run off to some thirdrate family, insisting on swapping identities with Sophia? And claiming that the Roscente Family was poor!”

After Sophia returned to her room, the light in Edward Roscente’s bedroom came on

Butler Waher knocked and entered, only to find Edward in his pajamas, with his hands behind his back, standing by the floortoceiling window wearing reading glasses and staring intently outside

The window had just the right view for seeing who came into the manor. A fancy coupe was slowly pulling away

His Lordship, you really care about Sophia. You woke up as soon as she got home,” Butler Walter said with a light smile while looking at Edward’s serious profile

Edward turned around with an annoyed expression and scoffed coldly. Care! I’m just worried she’ll embarrass our family! It’s almost six o’clock, and she’s just now getting back. Sneaking out all night until morningdoes that something a highsociety lady would do!”

Despite his angry tone, Walter could sense that he genuinely cared about Sophia

He put on a unile and followed Edward’s lead. You’re right. She shouldn’t have stayed out all night. Ell talk to her.”

No need?Edward snapped as he walked back to the bedside and took off his glasses. Let her go! I’ll see what kind of bad habits she’s picked up after being out there all these years!”

Walter handed him a cup of warm water and said calmly, Sophia isn’t someone who lacks judgment; if she was really messing around outside, she

wouldn’t have rushed home like that.”

Seriously?Edward shot another glance at the floortoceiling windows. That coupe had already driven off

He scoffed again, Didn’t she drive herself when she went out! And now she’s coming back in someone else’s car. Check the surveillance at the entrance and find out whose it is”

He wanted to find out which bastard had the gubi to keep his granddaughter our all night

Butler Walter stilled his laughter. He figured out why Mr. Hoscenie was upsel

Sophia had just been brought back, and Mr. Roscente had only started to build a connection with her when suddenly someone appeared with bad. intentions toward her. Naturally, Mr. Roscente became angry

Yes, I’ll go check,he replied respectfully

Sophia took a shower and then had a quick nap. Her body clock, which she’d built up over the last three years, woke her up right at half past seven

Even though her eyelids felt heavy and all she wanted to do was go back to sleep, she pushed herself to get up and wash her face

I really need to cut down on those latenight hangouts. Every time we meet, I have to stay up all night. I can’t keep doing this she thought while splashing water on her face

After getting dressed and throwing her hair into a ponytail, Sophia headed downstairs

At the dining table sat Edward, reading the newspaper with a serious expression. When he noticed Sophia corning down, he gave her a long look before returning to his paper

Sophia plopped down next to him. That glance from earlier made her squint slightly in suspicion

She reached out and pressed the newspaper from Edward’s hands so she could see his face. With a slight frown, she asked, Grandpa, didn’t you sleep well last night”

This move was undoubtedly quite provocative to Edward Butler Walter, who was serving breakfast on the side, was so frightened that he almost dropped the plate

Edward frowned and gave Sophia a serious look, clearly displeased

But Sophia didn’t back down; she just pressed the newspaper down and looked straight at Edward. Grandpa, I told you that you can’t stay up all night or overwork anymore. Why won’t you listen?”

Sophia’s face was delicate and cool, especially those bright eyes of hersfearless in front of him as she stared earnestly and seriously. Ripples ran through Edward’s heart. I didn’t stay up all night,” he replied

Sophia raised her hand and lightly traced under his eye with her slender fingers, pouting slightly. You didn’t stay up all night? Then why do you look so bad? Grandpa, have you forgotten that I know a little about medicine?”

With that, she settled back into her chair and reached out toward Edward. Since you won’t admit it, let me check

Hee expressionlessly shook the newspaper

ewspaper and set it aside, pretending to wave at Walter as if nothing was wrong. Forget it, let’s have breakfast”
