Chapter 41 

Sophia didn’t take her provocation in her eyes and laughed out loud without holding back, 

She lifted her head coolly, her gaze towards Chlor holding a hint of a mocking smile. “The caveat is to remember to keep your dog on a leash when walking it, and especially not to bring it to me, the pervious owner, ngain” 

Chloe’s and Ethan’s expressions changed with her cold and uncaute works, Clilor’s gentle smile froze on her face. Ethan, on the other hand, glared at Sophia fiercely, his eyes red with burgeoning anger, 

Ethan’s friends were utterly dumbfounded, each showing different expressions. 

Just moments ago, Sophia had openly referred to Eahan as a dog in their presence, which they initially dismissed as mere defiance. However, she had now repeated her insulting words, indirectly mocking Ethan as a dog once again right in front of him. 

“She was truly crazy! Didn’t she have any idea that if she continued to provoke Ethan, she might lose any future opportunities she had with him? Their gazes flickered as they recalled Sophia’s earlier ancer, and a sense of revenge began to bubble up with in them. 

“Sophia, this new tactic of trying to get Ethan’s attention only makes you more disgusting” 

“We only care about Chloe.” 

“Everyone knows you came to the hospital just for Ethan. Why act tough?” 

“Sophia, with your worth, you’re only good enough to be Ethan’s sidekick. You can’t even compare to Chloe at all” 

Chloe heard it all, unable to suppress the smile at the comer of her mouth. 

She bit her lip, trying not to let the grin spread across her face, and playfully glared at those people. “Come on, don’t say that about Sophia. She’s already annoyed with Ethan because of me. If you keep saying that, she might end up disliking me even more.” 

As she spoke, it looked like she was thinking about Sophia’s feelings. “Since she said she didn’t come here for Ethan, then she didn’t.” 

The moment her words fell, a man passed through Ethan’s friends and approached Sophia. 

The person was tall and slender, with a charming smile on his handsome face as beautiful as a peach blossom. 

With only Sophia in his deep–set eyes, he was oblivious to the people around him. “Miss Roscente, are you having trouble finding the ward? Why are you still here?” 

Sophia raised her gaze slightly and saw Gary’s handsome face. 

The others, especially Ethan, changed their expressions slightly when they saw the face of this unexpected interloper 

It was Gary, the youngest master of the Tomlins Family, from the top elite families in Virella, an existence that these playboys could not hope to associate with. 

Especially he had a very close relationship with the head of the Yeats Group. 

How could such a top–tier individual greet Sophia so familiarly? 

Moreover, what did he mean by Sophia not finding the ward! 

Didn’t Sophia come to the hospital for Ethan? 

They exchanged awkward glances, giving Ethan a strange look 

If Sophia was here for someone else, especially related to this top young master of the Tomlins Family, then their earlier comments would be foolish. 

Ethan apparently also thought of this. His face was dark, covered with thick gloom, and his bloodshot eyes stared fixedly at Sophia 

He didn’t believe Sophia was here not for him. 

“Ethan, why does Sophia suddenly have so many men? Yesterday it was Mr. Yeats, today 

low it’s Mr. 

Tomlins.” 

Chloe bit her cherry lips, her heart filled with intense unwillingness. She deliberately leaned closer to Ethan’s car and whispered as if inadvertently, “No wonder she said those humiliating words. Did she let Mr. Tomlins hear them on purpose!”

She was resigned to the fact that such good men would be around the hitch Sophia.
