Damon looked at Sylvara for answers but the woman simply ignored him and continued to chat with the cityfolk, no doubt trying to curry favor for some quests from her side. Every player in the feast was pretty much doing the same thing, trying to squeeze out a quest or two.

Soon, the familiar countdown began and the warning about system shut down notification arrived in front of his eyes.

Damon closed and opened his eyes. Yup, he was still standing inside the game world, the city folk partying it up alongside him.

"What the fuck? This is actually a thing?!" Damon couldn’t believe what he was seeing. He looked around and then realized he was in for another shock.

He was still inside the game alright and he was the only one still inside the game!

All around him every single player had completely disappeared including Sylvara and all the others from the Frozen Throne guild. Damon was pretty sure that those guys all had their own tattoos and yet they were gone from the game just like ordinary players.

He then remembered something and quickly hurried to check for Kate and Mark. Weirdly enough those two had also been chucked out. So it was just him right now in the entire game world? No other player was there?

What if players who had received a special legacy or god’s blessings were exceptions? He quickly opened up his friend’s list and checked for Ghost. That dude has Umbra’s legacy, one of old forgotten gods. Sure enough, he was also greyed out which meant he was also out of the game right now.

"Blood Reign, do you know what is happening?" Damon asked the weapon spirit.

"Hmmm... Maybe my Lord is able to access the game world because you have a stronger soul than the others."

"Huh? When did this happen?" Damon was surprised to hear something like this.

Damon nodded. He did not fully understand everything but he could somewhat guess what was happening. The half day game time was probably just the system letting the humanbeings getting used to mana.
