Chapter 469: MEMORY FROM THE PAST

She was in her dream again? The dream about the five swords that kept coming to her?

But this time, she could hear someone calling her name and when she turned around, she saw a figure walking closer to her. In her last dream, she saw an obscured figure, though this time it was a little bit clearer.

It was a woman with long, red, curly hair and when she was really close, she could finally see the color of her eyes. They were blue.

Iris gasped to see the similarities between the two of them, if someone saw them, they would think they were siblings.

"We finally met," the woman smiled and there were two dimples on her cheeks, which Iris didn’t.

This woman was so beautiful. Her beauty was ethereal, as if she was not from this world. The kindness in her eyes and the firmness in her voice could easily make you feel safe and sound with her nearby. She looked so calm and composed.

How could someone exude such serenity?

Iris was about to ask something, but this alluring woman had grabbed her hand. "There is no time, I want to show you something." Her voice rang in this empty hall.

Iris didn’t understand what she meant, but when she blinked her eyes, she was no longer inside that empty hall with the five swords.

She was in a warm chamber, standing near a fireplace, before where a lizard curled its body. Iris was surprised. She thought it was her lizard, but then when she looked around her, there were at least four of them and none of them were the same size as the one she had.

"What is this? Another dream?" She murmured to herself.

Even though there was no way this was real, Iris didn’t feel like it was a dream either. Everything was so real and lucid to be called a dream.

She looked around again and found that woman with red, curly hair. She was wearing white dress, staring into the distance from a window. It was night, the sky was so gloomy and thunder could be heard in the distance.

That woman looked so lonely and sad, even though it was only her back that she could see.

However, there was another thing that distracted Iris at this moment from approaching her and asking what was going on.

Currently, Iris was flabbergasted that she heard these noises around her. The crackling sound of the firewood, the sound of the wind, the flutter of the curtain and the creaking sound when someone opened the door.

"Serafim," the man was wearing a white armor and had a long sword attached to his hip. He lowered his head when he greeted the woman, who he addressed as the Serafim.

Iris had seen this attire before.

The woman called Serafim was wearing the dress from the Andelus continent, while the man seemed to be a warrior from the Holy Kingdom, though the armor looked slightly different from what Iris had learned.

"Tell me." Her voice was shaking, she balled her fists tightly beside her body. She looked like she was preparing herself for the worst, but still, she didn’t look like she was ready for the news. freewebnøvel.com
