Their method to exchange information was by the hawk, but with so many crows in the sky, there was no way the hawk could survive the journey. They also didn’t know what kind of crows were this and what kind of calamity this flock would bring upon them.
"We will not hear from them," Cane said grimly. His expression turned very dark, when he calculated when this flock would arrive in their pack. He wondered what happened to the other pack and what kind of destruction that had happened to the other packs because of these crows.
Yet, once again, there was no way to know about it.
Iris was right, they needed to be prepared, they were coming.
"Announce for evacuation!" Cane gave an order to Ethan and more to the other warriors around them. They needed to move quickly. "Check our storage food and gather everyone in the pack house!"
The pack house had a spacious space to shelter the whole pack member, but of course, it would be a challenge since there were knights from the Holy Kingdom and the additional children that came with them from the black market, also some of the Golden Light pack member.
To put it simple, they were overcrowded.
From the look of it, those crows would reach this pack within an hour or two.
After firing orders to his warriors, Cane shifted into his beast, his main concern was Iris and their baby. He needed to ensure their safety first and learned what kind of information Iris could gather from Abby.
==============================
"I can’t tell you about him," Abby said, she clamped her mouth, determined not to say a single thing about Rei, but her curiosity got the best of her, as she started questioning Iris. "How do you know him? What he had done? What he told you?"
Iris leaned back against her backrest and smiled at Abby without saying anything, but it was enough for the Serafim to know she wouldn’t get any answer from her.
With that, Abby changed her question. She was the same like Iris. Both of them desperate to get the answer, since the other person held so many secrets and information they needed to know, but Abby was very restricted to reveal anything to an outsider.
Yet, Iris knew so many things and reveal shocking information that needed to be questioned.
"When do you get the divine power? You are a runt. From what I know, you held no power until recently. What changed?" Abby tried to engage Iris in this topic again, but the luna was quick to bring the conversation back to the main point.
"How to destroy Decratic?" Iris repeated her question. She looked at Abby in the eyes and could see how the question made her restless and agitated her at the same time.
In Abby’s mind, it was her duty as the Serafim to destroy Decratic. She also couldn’t wrap her mind in the concept there was another Serafim aside from her.
There should only be one Serafim.
"Abby," Iris called her name solemnly. "You can take all the credit from this. I only want that creature to be gone, after that you can return to your continent and prove them wrong. The rumor about you is wrong. No one need to know I have the first Serafim’s life essence and we can part way after everything ended."
