The sound of it was very sickening and Grace had to close her eyes, but even so, she couldn’t ward off the disturbing sight and had to excuse herself to throw up, empty her stomach.

Ethan’s face turned very dark.

Meanwhile, Grace’s face was not better too. She felt very sick in her stomach to watched how her alpha cut off both lady Cyan’s ears and then her legs, while Grace tried to preserve her life.

Cane didn’t want lady Cyan to have an easy death, but at the same time, he didn’t want her to live for any second longer, more so, he didn’t have time to give her a slow torture that would lead her to her death.

Therefore, this method was perfect, since she was not a shifter that could heal herself.

Lady Cyan kept screaming in pain, crying when the alpha skinned her alive and humiliated her by tearing her dress, exposing her naked body before he skinned her.

Jace released her ears for Grace to hear Cane’s order.

"Save her." Cane had not yet done. He was only halfway skinning her and he wanted lady Cyan to be alive until he was done.

Grace tried, but she shook her head. "I- I- I can’t..." she said, trembling with her eyes closed.

"Try harder."

Grace did what she was told, but the end result was the same. "I- I- I- I can’t alpha... she is dead." No matter how powerful her healing power was, she wouldn’t be able to revive the death with it.

Only then, Cane let go. Grace had reached her breaking point and Cyan died in the most miserable death Cane could think of right now, though he was not satisfied yet. He wanted to torture someone more to vanquish his anger. His heart couldn’t calm down and he felt very vindictive at this very moment.

"Cane..." Jace came to Cane when he had made sure Grace was fine. The other warriors helped her to go back to the pack. "I will take Gallot and Nolan to the dungeon." He didn’t know what to do with them, since Cane ignored the two and walked past them to go to the carriage, where Aria was still screaming.

Therefore, he suggested this, he wanted to know what Cane would do with the two alphas. If he didn’t say anything, he would bring them to the dungeon and wait for him to deal with them.

Hearing that, Cane stopped walking and glanced at his beta. His expression was the same, as if his face would be forever carved like that.
