Oriana slowly lifted her gaze, her eyes fixed on Edna, who struggled to break free from the trap. Sensing an intense stare at her back, Edna paused and turned around, only to be met by a pair of red eyes exuding a deadly instinct, devoid of any trace of rationale.
Caught in Oriana’s piercing gaze, Edna shivered in place. This wasn’t the Oriana she knew; it was a formidable force, rendering Edna feel seemingly insignificant in its presence.
Oriana stood up in her place, glaring at Edna. Edna turned around, increasing her efforts to break the invisible barrier in front of her. It was not Arlan’s power but Oriana’s power which had trapped her.
In the next instant, a surge of power yanked Edna backward, and she found herself at Oriana’s feet. Startled, Edna opened her eyes, meeting Oriana’s stern gaze looming over her as if she was her prey.
In fright, Edna tried to crawl away but the next moment she found a hand had gripped her hair and started to drag her body along the rough ground mercilessly to take her somewhere.
"Oriana, you can’t treat me like this. Have you forgotten our deal?" she cried out.
Her words fell on the deaf ears and Oriana continued to drag her with her hair. This reminded Edna when once Oriana warned her that she would drag her out by her hair.
Onlookers stood by, helpless witnesses to Oriana exacting her revenge.
Suddenly, a massive magic circle materialized on the ground, radiating an ominous darkness. Oriana seized Edna’s hair firmly, forcefully throwing her into that magical circle like a useless toy.
"She’s going to torment her for eternity," Sierra remarked, observing the bewildered onlookers.
"Is that Malevolence Nexus?" Evanthe inquired as she observed that magical circle laced with absolute darkness.
Sierra nodded. "That circle will send her to the depths of hell, where her soul will endure eternal torment. Esmerray planns to give her eternal suffering than killing her. Being a Princess of Demons, summoning this Malevolence Nexus is like an easy play for her."
Edna found herself trapped within the powerful darkness, every fiber of her being rattled by the alarming realization that she was bound for hell.
Oriana walked towards her as she entered the magical circle created by herself. Edna tried to crawl away from her but could not as if her body was restricted in one place by some invisible force.
Expressionless, devoid of emotion and reason, Oriana knelt beside the trembling Edna. This version of Oriana didn’t utter a word, refrain from mockery, or indulge in any form of taunting. She exuded a terrifying aura, reminiscent of a demon in hell.
As Oriana extended her hand toward Edna, a sharp cry rang out, "Do not touch me."
Oriana’s countenance remained as unyielding as stone, and with deliberate intent, she extended her hand toward Edna while fixating her gaze on her chest.
Oriana’s scrutiny sent a shiver down Edna’s spine, prompting her to instinctively shield her chest.
"Oriana, I don’t desire your body. You are my Queen. Had I known of your status, I would never have entertained such thoughts. As your subject, I implore you to understand."
In response to Edna’s plea, an unseen force moved her hands away from her chest, pinning them to the ground. Oriana’s focus lingered on Edna’s dark clothed covered chest, and her hands moved toward it.
"Forgive me, My Queen. I will heed your every command."
Oriana, akin to a statue, revealed nothing as she pursued her ultimate goal. Her slender fingers, adorned with dark, elongated nails, resembled sharp knives closing in on Edna’s chest.
In the next moment, the air resonated with Edna’s anguished cries. Oriana had gouged her nails into Edna’s chest, tearing it open as though unraveling a large, dried leaf.
Amidst the excruciating pain of her exposed ribcage, Oriana’s once-threatening words reverberated in Edna’s ears, "You despicable witch, I will rip open your chest and crush your heart with my hands."
