Chapter 640: Tormenting Arrogant Sales Girls

"Young lady, please follow us inside," a salesgirl said to Rina, who still had her gaze fixed on Erin.

Rina wondered if one day she could be like this woman. She was beautiful, confident and scary at the same time.

"Thank you so much..." Rina recalled how the salesgirl had addressed her, "...Lady Erin."

"Go get everything you want, but only if you like it," Erin said. "Though this shop is exuberant, not everything here is that good. You can always go to another shop."

Rina nodded. "Lady Erin, would you help me? I’ve never bought such clothes before, and I’m sure my brother has no idea what to buy for me either. But only if you have the time?"

"Time is what I’m trying to pass, so I ended up coming to this shop," Erin sighed. "Alright, let’s see what suits a sweet little girl like you."

Rina finally smiled, all the sadness she felt from the salesgirl’s hurtful words long gone.

With Erin, they were guided to a private room meant only for women from wealthy noble families. The salesgirls started bringing various dresses for Rina and helped her try them on.

Rina would look at Erin for her opinion while the sales girl would ask her, "How does this one looks on Miss Rina, lady Erin? Beautiful isn’t it?"

Erin sitting on the chair, her demeanour as if she owned this world would observe only to say. "No."

"And this one?"

"No."

"This one sure the prettiest one."

"No."

The salesgirls started to panic, remembering Erin’s warning. They had to do everything they could to sell at least one dress to Rina, or their jobs would be at risk.

On the other hand Rina liked all the dresses, but Erin kept saying no to every one so she decided trust this beautiful lady’s judgement. Moreover Rina could sense Erin was doing it punish these sales girls.

Meanwhile, Lucian returned to the shop and asked for his sister.

The lady manager, who had learned everything upon her return, mustered her politest smile, though she guessed Lucian was a commoner based on his clothes. Despite his handsome face and perfect build, which were no less than those of any nobleman, the dark clothes he wore suggested he might be a guard or someone who worked for a noble.

"Oh, that sweet little girl is your sister? Her name is Rina, right?" she asked.

Lucian nodded. "Is she here?"

"Yes, she is inside a private room, and our salesgirls are helping her select a dress," she replied.

Lucian nodded and waited outside. It was a shop for women, and men were not allowed inside. Whenever he came with Erin, he would stay outside and away from this shop. That’s why the salesgirls didn’t recognize him.

Inside the private room, Erin finally asked, "Rina, did you like anything? If not, we can go to another shop."

The salesgirl panicked. "We will bring more dresses, Lady Erin. Please give us another chance."

Erin ignored them and spoke to Rina, "What do you say?"

"There’s no need to see more—"

"Miss Rina, we apologize for offending you. Please give us another chance," one of the salesgirls interrupted.

Rina felt like laughing at their desperation. But she didn’t plan to torment them any further and said, "I don’t want to see more dresses because I’ve already found one I like."
