Chapter 649: Erin’s Decision

The next morning, Arlan woke up to find Oriana sleeping soundly next to him. The soft glow of the morning sunlight illuminated her delicate, feather-like skin, and he found himself mesmerized by her peaceful form. No matter how long he looked at her, it was never enough, making him wonder once more how he could love her so deeply. What kind of a spell she had put on him or it’s him who wished to be get enchanted on his own accords.

He traced the back of his fingers gently along her soft cheek, memories from the previous night flooding his mind. She had truly surprised him by boldly taking control, her beautiful face full of lust, her delicate form moving above him, offering her best. He recalled her hands and mouth running over him, and the way she didn’t hesitate to pleasure him.

His heart skipped a beat at the memory, then began to race wildly inside his rib cage.

’Damn it,’ he cursed inwardly, feeling the need to have her again. His eyes, filled with longing, observed her beautiful face as he leaned in and captured her lips with his.

In her sleep, Oriana responded to the kiss, perhaps thinking it was a dream, not wanting to wake up.

Taking the lead, his naked form hovered over hers under the blanket, which slid down to his perfect waist. His mouth never left her soft, sweet lips. Though surprised, she remained in her slumber as Arlan continued. She had always been a sound sleeper, and eating and sleeping to her heart’s content were constants for her.

He got a little more aggressive, deepening the kiss and pressing her firmly beneath him. One hand pinned her hands above her head while he relished her soft mounds. Sleepy moans escaped her lips, but there was no sign of her waking up to the reality that her husband was ready to devour her once more, the first thing in the morning.

Panting heavily with the intense desire to be intimate with her, he looked at her face, his one leg parting both her legs away, settling himself between them. His gaze turning darker, he didn’t care if she was sleeping and moved to enter her.

Feeling the strong intrusion, Oriana gasped loudly in her sleep, the pain waking her. Her sleepy but moist eyes looked at him in disbelief as she realized it wasn’t a dream; she was truly being taken by him while she slept.

"Arlan..." she said weakly, her voice and expression showing discomfort.

He didn’t back down, the lust overtaking him. "You’ll loosen up soon," he comforted in a husky voice and moved entirely inside her.

She groaned lightly, the previous night’s activities having left her sore. Yet, this didn’t feel bad either, and she consented to his advances.

His one hand still pinned hers above her head while the other roamed around her mounds, his mouth capturing hers in a demanding kiss. He continued to move between her legs, slowly and steadily at first, then with vigorous movements that stole her breath entirely.

Early in the morning, the bedchamber of the Princess of Aurialor once more filled with loud, erotic noises that didn’t stop anytime soon. A demanding dragon was getting the best out of his mate to his own liking.

The previous day, Walys had informed the King that Erin was ready to accept the proposal he had offered to their family. The next day, Walys returned home after attending the morning session of the royal court and speaking once more with the King about the matter. Unlike the previous night when he was delighted to share the news, this time, Walys wore a grave expression.

He called for his family once more. Euron, who was busy taking care of matters related to the Ahren family business, arrived in the drawing room where Walys and his wife were present. Erin had not yet arrived.

"Father, what happened?" Euron asked, noticing his father’s worried look.

Walys answered, "His Majesty told me that Lord Rainier has rejected the marriage proposal."

"What?" Euron exclaimed. "Father, are you sure?"
