My so–called best friend had her eye on my husband. 

She got me drunk and took some private photos of me unconscious with a stranger. 

My husband booted me out, and my little boy, just five, started despising me. 

Only my sickly daughter was willing to stick by me. 

I figured we’d be out on the street, but then these three farmers came to our rescue. 

They claimed to be my long–lost brothers. 

With their help, my daughter and I got a fresh start on their farm until my ex tracked us down, trying to snatch my daughter away. 

“Grace, you can be as loose as you want, but our daughter isn’t staying with you. You’ll ruin her,” my ex spat, trying to take my daughter. 

I held on tight 

He lashed out. kicking me square in the gut, but I still wouldn’t budge, even when he crushed my hand under his heel 

“Or maybe I’ll take you too, if you beg and clean my shoes” Antonio Kaufman’s eyes were crazed, his voice dripping with scorn 

“I haven’t done anything wrong! No way I’m saying sorry!” I shot back at Antomo. 

My daughter. Mollie Kaufman, even got in on it, sinking her teeth into his shoulder. 

Antonio scowled and whacked the back of her head. “Mollie. I’m your dad, and you bit me?” 

It just made Mollie fight harder. 

Antonio balled up his fist and aimed it at Mollie’s face. 

“Keep your hands off my daughter!” I threw myself at Antonio, not letting him hurt Mollic. 

Back then, to keep me from getting any money after we split, Antonio was ready to show my naked pictures to everyone. 

While people were cursing me out, Antonio was scheming to steal my daughter 

Mollie told me that she wanted to be with me and handed over every last cent from her piggy bank to fund our escape. 

Antonio, in his twisted mind, figured Mollie had gone sour, so he let her have it with a slap. 

The thought of what Antonio might do to Mollie if he got his hands on her turned my stomach 

Antonio was taken aback when I stood up to him, fighting for our daughter 

He slapped me so hard that I hit the dirt 

With a sinister chuckle, Antonio kicked me down and then stomped on my back with all his might
