When Shaun heard that, he took a deep breath and said through gritted teeth, "But we're doing the right thing, aren't we? Lincoln, there's no point in thinking about it now. Let's just show him the facts to prove him wrong and show that we're right. Then, he'll finally understand us."
Lincoln nodded. "So, what's the plan now? Mr. Baxter being locked up isn't a small matter, and we can't hide it forever."
Shaun smiled and said, "All we need is just a couple of days, right? I'll be his substitute for a few days, and it shouldn't be that hard. Besides, I have you here to support me, so no one will be suspicious of me."
It was true that Shaun had always been trained to be the heir of the Baxter family, and he had a lot of power. When Archie wasn't around, no one would question a thing if Shaun was calling the shots. Not only that, but he also had Lincoln supporting him.
Lincoln nodded and asked, "What about Nolan? When are we going for him?"
Shaun chuckled. "There's no need to rush. We can do it one of these days. For now, let's give him a chance to relax. When the time comes, he'll have to cry his eyes out. He thinks he's so awesome, huh? Now, I want to see if he can continue being arrogant without the Baxters' support!"
When they were talking about Nolan, Shaun's gaze was full of rage and disdain. When Lincoln noticed that, he started getting suspicious.
After all, Shaun and Nolan had never really met before. So, he wondered why Shaun had so much hatred for him.
"Is there a conflict between you two?" Lincoln asked.
