So, Michael and the rest followed Nolan on foot. However, the more they walked, the more nervous they got.
Although some of them had never been there before, they knew it was just the wilderness there with no one around. However, after they took a turn from the main road, they saw a long shady path in front of them.
There were four wide lanes, and the trees on both sides looked well-maintained. Not only did they look beautiful, but they looked majestic as well.
What shocked them the most was how many men in suits they saw along the way. In just ten minutes of walking, they had seen at least 30 of them, and it made them even more nervous.
Based on how powerful the people looked, Michael and his men figured they were no match for whoever was in charge there.
At the end of the path, they were shocked to see a huge house. It felt like a different world around the vintage-looking house, and it was a refreshing sight to see.
It felt as if they were in a luxurious forest because there were hills and a lake. There was even a small man-made island with a shack in the lake.
The birds were singing, and the flowers smelled great. The fresh breeze welcomed them as they arrived. They didn't have to imagine hard to figure out how great it would be to stay there.
At that moment, a man in his 30s excitedly approached Nolan with a few men in suits behind him. He said respectfully, "You're finally here, Mr. Greene."
Nolan looked at the man with a wolf tattoo on his neck and said with a faint smile, "You're Sirius, right? Fang told me about you. I'm sorry you've had to wait here for so many years."
When Sirius heard that, he hurriedly shook his head. "It's not that bad at all. I'm honored to look after the house for you, Mr. Greene. Let me give you a tour."
