At this point, George's face showed a hint of worry. It all still came down to Nolan. He gritted his teeth and decided in his heart.
"You all stay here and greet the guests. I'll go to the hotel entrance to welcome them."
Upon hearing this, Courtney immediately said, "Why go to the hotel entrance? Isn't it fine to stay here?"
He lowered his voice and said, "I can't let Nolan ruin Audrey and Mr. Baxter's relationship. I must speak to him before he enters. One thing is certain—even if I have to play the villain today, I will not allow anyone to threaten their relationship!"
She gently nodded, hesitated momentarily, and said, "Still, try to be gentle about it. After all, he did save Audrey."
George nodded and immediately headed toward the hotel lobby.
Today, Kara was the happiest, especially because of Kitty and Dipsy's envious looks. It made her feel exhilarated.
"Kara, you're amazing! We've both only dreamed of this scene, and you've made it happen. There are so many gifts and so many important figures! You're incredible!"
Kara lifted her head proudly and said excitedly, "Of course, don't forget who my sister is! Plus, my brother-in-law is Shaun! He's the head of the Baxter family now! This event is just a small matter."
Kitty gazed enviously at the pile of gifts on stage, her eyes almost glowing with desire.
"Kara, you must be overwhelmed with gifts today. Shaun gave you a million-dollar necklace! I'm so jealous!"
"You won't be mad that our gift is too cheap, will you? We don't have that much money, but our friendship is what matters."
