The price of betrayal (Jack and Ashley) novel Chapter 279

"Mr. Baxter, don't you think so too?" Audrey asked.

The psychiatry hospital was a place that would make a sane person go crazy. At a time like this, Audrey had suggested sending Nolan there only to keep him safe.

Shaun knew Audrey's intention. Just when he was about to speak, Ironhead roared, "I'll cut his tongue off even before you send him to the psychiatry hospital. Besides, is there a need to waste the hospital resources on a dead person?"

With that, Ironhead was about to make a move.

Just then, Shaun bit the bullet and tugged at Ironhead before he whispered, "Mr. Ironhead, I'm not trying to stop you, but we're at Norwich Hotel, Mr. Hance's place. If you made a move here, Mr. Hance might be displeased if he found out.

"You seemed to respect Mr. Hance just now, so I have to remind you."

Ironhead's eyes glinted when he heard Shaun mentioning Nick. He could ignore Shaun, but he had to consider Nick.

After all, considering Norwich Group's influence in the Eastern State, even Gregory wouldn't want to offend them.

If Ironhead could be on good terms with the higher-ups from Norwich Group, it would benefit both Gregory and him. Hence, he had to show some respect to Nick.

"Mr. Baxter, but you heard what he said. It'll be more than embarrassing myself if I just tolerate this. Do you get what I mean?" Ironhead questioned.

Shaun quickly replied, "Mr. Ironhead, I get what you mean. I'm not telling you to tolerate it, but you should go somewhere else and wait for a while. Don't worry. Nolan can't escape."
