The price of betrayal (Jack and Ashley) novel Chapter 371

Nolan had already reached the entrance of Megan's villa.

He let out a soft sigh. Despite the restlessness in his heart, he felt joyful to see his family. Three years had passed since Nolan last saw his parents, and Nolan's longing was as vast as the ocean.

He rang the doorbell. The person who came to open the door was Liana, Nolan's elder sister.

"Nolan, you're here. You've been through so much in these three years."

Liana had always adored Nolan, showering him with affection since he was a little boy. Now, as she caught sight of him, she couldn't contain her emotions and immediately enveloped him in a tight hug, tears streaming down her face.

With a small laugh, Nolan replied, "Liana, I haven't been through much. I haven't even lost weight. In fact, I've gained some."

After releasing the embrace, Nolan walked into the living room. His eyes grew red when he saw Wayne and Melody settled on the couch. Nolan took a deep breath and approached Wayne and Melody, then immediately dropped to his knees.

"I've been a terrible son and caused you so much pain."

Melody's emotions couldn't be contained any longer. She rushed to embrace Nolan, tears streaming down her face.

"It's so good to have you back," she repeated through sobs.

"Hurry. Stand up. We won't hold it against you, but you have to be more obedient and responsible from now on. We can't risk going back to prison."

Nolan nodded and began to rise.

Wayne let out a chilly snort and barked, "Stay on your knees. How dare you even consider standing up? You've brought shame to the Greene family."
