Nolan looked so serious that no one could tell if he meant it or not.
However, Nolan was right. If Megan Corporation became the village's business, everyone would make enough from the dividends.
How was this possible though? Before Megan said anything, Tyler stood up and objected to the suggestion.
"Nolan, what are you talking about? You can't make her donate the whole company just for a charity of the village and to look good.
"Megan has worked so hard to establish her business. How could she just donate it to the ungrateful villagers? Are you kidding me?"
Nolan heard Tyler's reason and narrowed his eyes slightly. He stared at Tyler and said, "You're aware that some villagers are ungrateful. Why are you saying all this here then?
"I'm not a stingy person. I'll help anyone who needs it, but I won't do anything for those who don't deserve my help.
"As for the Village Enterprise in Rio Village, if I remember correctly, I was the one who paid and made the effort to establish them. What happened in the end then? Although I was in prison for three years, it didn't mean that I knew nothing.
"Village Enterprise is doing quite well, but do some of them deserve the money?
"They're making a living because of me, yet they're cursing me behind my back. I'm not that forgiving. I'll return for the family reunion this time. It's time to check the financial report of the village!"
Nolan told the truth indifferently and said he would check the financial report. His parents and Tyler thought it was too sudden and inappropriate.
Tyler frowned and seemed to be against the idea when he heard Nolan. "Nolan, are you checking the financial reports? Who do you think you are?"
