The price of betrayal (Jack and Ashley) novel Chapter 415

Seeing this, Megan smirked. She had been waiting for someone to teach Nolan a lesson.

However, Liana wasn't having it as she stepped in front of Tyler and grabbed his arm. "Tyler, don't lay a hand on my brother!"

Melody quickly stepped in to mediate as well. "Don't resort to violence, Tyler. Talk properly. Nolan is just a bit stubborn right now, but once he comes to his senses, everything will be fine."

On the other hand, Wayne was seething with anger as he gritted his teeth. "Don't stop Tyler. Let him hit Nolan. This insolent brat needs to learn his lesson the harsh way! Otherwise, he wouldn't understand. Hit him. Hit him hard!"

Tyler became even more emboldened at Wayne's words. Looking at Liana, he uttered, "Liana, you heard what Dad said. I don't want to hit Nolan either, but he's completely out of line. Maybe roughing him up a bit will straighten him out."

With that, Tyler pushed Liana aside, nearly causing her head to hit the wall.

Nolan, who had already decided not to tolerate this, couldn't stand by. He immediately stepped forward and helped Liana up, asking, "Are you okay?"

At that moment, Tyler kicked Nolan from behind.

Even as his eyes flashed with murderous intent, Nolan didn't turn around. Instead, he continued to look at Liana with concern.

Liana held her waist and nodded. "I'm fine, Nolan. You should leave. Come back once Mom and Dad have calmed down."

She then tried to push Nolan away to stop Tyler from bullying him further.

But Nolan asked, "Liana, do you remember what I told you? I said I'm no longer the brother you know. In this lifetime, I'll never let anyone make you suffer again."

With that, Nolan turned around and caught Tyler's raised fist in a firm grip.
