Then Archie called Shaun over, "Shaun, come here."

Shaun quickly stepped forward. "Yes, Dad?"

Archie smiled but spoke seriously, "Check who hasn't paid yet and collect the money. Since Ms. Turner brought it up, we need to make sure everything is fair. After all, everyone here is a friend of the Baxter family, and we don't want anyone to be embarrassed. Got it?"

Shaun understood what Archie meant and nodded. "Yes, Dad. I'll take care of it right away."

There was only one person who hadn't paid yet—Nolan. The Baxter family had planned to talk to him about it privately later. But now, thanks to Megan, they had to handle it immediately.

Archie made it clear that they wouldn't let a friend be embarrassed. Even if Nolan couldn't pay right then, Shaun had to say the payment was made. It was about showing respect to Nolan.

After all, 60 million dollars was a lot of money. Even though people knew Nolan wasn't just anybody, they still had doubts.

Shaun didn't like Nolan much, especially because of how Audrey seemed to care about him. He wanted to see Nolan embarrassed, but Shaun knew that if he made Nolan look bad, he would end up getting blamed for it later.

So, even though he was upset, Shaun knew he had to go along with it.
