To ensure that Endirius would not easily see through his plans, Rowan had not reduced his influence outside Revah's body to nothing; everything he observed came from her memory and soul.
He was aware that such a thing would leave glaring holes in his observational capabilities, but this was a shortcoming that he felt he could manage; his concern was for Endirius alone and stealing the Flame that was right in front of him, and he had disregarded the six Mages here with him.
This was a great mistake.
Six of the Mages here exploded with power equal to that of Old Ones alongside Revah, and a brief moment of surprise passed across their features as they all discovered that every one of them had kept such great secrets inside before they all turned their attention to Endirius and they attacked.
Rowan wanted to curse out in frustration. He had overlooked the greediness for power inherent in the hearts of all immortals.
The same way that Revah had found an opportunity to become an Old One was the same process all the mages here beside her had taken, but he was only in control of one of them. The remaining six must have fallen into the grasp of other powerful entities; most likely, they had the presence of Primordials behind them.
It was not as if a part of him had not anticipated such a thing. If he could do the same thing to Revah, then the possibility that the other Primordials spread their influence must have done the same thing in many dimensions.
However, Rowan believed that his methods of attaching himself to the souls of his target were unique. This meant that he should have been an overt competitor in this fight, but the problem here fell under the greed of immortals.
Before they had attacked, Rowan had seen the look that passed through the faces of these mages, and it was one of delight.
Endirius had kept them under his thumb for so long, and even though, with various hidden opportunities, they had all become Old Ones, the fear of the Supreme Magus was ingrained in their blood, and they did not challenge his rule. This would most likely be the case if nothing had changed in Reality.
Yet everything had changed, and every mage here knew with the power of Primordial Essence flooding Reality, the chance for them to rise had arrived, and they no longer had to bow and scrape to a single being anymore; this was their chance to rise. And so they attacked Endirius.
Once activated, the teleportation process could not be stopped. Revah's soul was too delicate to handle the stress of such a thing, but the attacks of the six Old Ones shattered space and time, which was deliberate. None of them wanted Endirius to escape.
Six mighty streams of power blasted into Endirius, and Revah only released a pale milky light of Teleportation that was supposed to wrap around the Oracle, but in this instance, it could cover only half his body.
In this instance, the entire space seemed to freeze; the six mages who had attacked Endirius looked at Revah in surprise, not knowing the reason why she would attempt teleportation in an environment like this one.
Revah could only shake her head in helplessness as her soul began to collapse, and she fell on her face, a step away from death. Her sacrifice still yielded results because the teleportation was able to tear the Oracle in two, his lower half vanishing into Reality.
