Butler Gary was dumbfounded at the sight of the fruits handed over by the Young Lord.
As someone of his caliber and his position as a purchaser of the Duke’s spiritual relic supply, Butler Gary was as sensitive to spiritual energy as one could get.
This grade? Even one was impossible to get! And he was just handed a dozen?!
The Butler’s eyes shook as he very gently placed the goods in his space, wanting to throw the other useless items (definitely not useless) to the guards behind him.
He really wanted to ask, but the Lord insisted on Star Mall being the source, and he felt like he would offend his Lord’s sensibilities if he pushed for more explanation.
"We will get this safely to the Duke!" He wanted to say, "at all costs," because right now, he was carrying what looked like a time bomb.
If others got wind of what he had in his storage space, there was a great probability that they wouldn’t make it back to the duchy.
"Thank you. Now, about contacting people from the duchy, would it be okay to ask for your contact details?" Luca was unsure how to ask his own people for their contact details, and he didn’t even know if that was the proper thing to do, so he just asked candidly.
What he didn’t know was that he nearly sent the people to the infirmary just by asking for their contact information.
How could their Lord be so nice?! He even asked them for their terminal details! Which heir would do such a thing for mere subordinates?!
Right, their Lord would do it! Because their Lord was the best!
That was the thought of people whose brains were blinded by Luca’s golden eyes. And if Luca could read their minds, maybe he wouldn’t readily offer even more surprises.
It took them a while to add Luca to their lists. Only when the Butler realized that Luca was waiting for it did he actually rush to hand over his information!
And the others, noting that the Butler was a traitor amongst them who wanted to act respectfully to the Lord, decided to line up as fast as they could.
What if he was already good with just adding one person?!
It was momentarily a scene of people pushing each other’s heads to get to Luca.
Now, with their Lord’s contact information safely stored in their terminals, they managed to remember the purpose of their trip.
"Lord Luca, we nearly forgot our purpose for coming here!"
"We wanted to bring you a few essentials, especially after learning about your Mecha Combat Division enrollment!" The eyes of these people shone brightly, and their pride soared to the heavens every time they thought about their Lord ranking 4th place.
And when they saw the golden badge, they were even more reverent of their future leader.
Luca didn’t really know how to react to people being like this. He was so used to seeing aversion and greed in most people’s eyes that this was such a novel experience for him.
"Thank you for bringing me things." That was all that he could say before his face cracked as they continued to pull out space buttons like they were snacks.
Luca feared that he would frighten himself if he looked at the contents right now. So, he decided to inspect them later in his own time.
The expectant people felt regretful, but they really had no time to be checking each item.
How much did their Lord suffer while they were unaware of his existence, that he was smiling like this from the mere mention of coins?!
Would he be sad and cry?
