The depression, however, did not have a chance to set in as the Duchess decided that they could not be having this melt down today.
And so she imitated her son by washing her hands, then grabbing a piece of meat dipped in the sauce bowl before shoving it in her husband’s mouth.
It took a moment.
Then she let go as the giant before her vacuumed the meat she fed him with her own hands.
"Better?" she asked, hoping that it had consoled the fragile heart of this huge man.
But better couldn’t really describe the sounds that the Duke was hearing as his brain and body tried to process this thing called a lobster!
Now, the Duchess saw his expression and figured she’d try it out too, and only then did the Mylor couple try it as they remembered the most basic traditions that their son obviously ignored.
Lord!
They had so many grievances, but the thoughts were similarly silenced as they blinked up at each other before reaching for their sauce bowls protectively.
Technically, everyone had one, but their son was there, and it was never bad to protect themselves against the grubby hands and mouth of their boy, who would even endanger himself because of overeating!
But somehow they could understand because this was really good and nothing they could have ever imagined tasting in their lives.
However, a certain redhead asked, "Luca, then the other lobster? Would it be like this, too?"
"Well, I guess we’re about to find out!" He grinned as he took a bite of what he could label a successful attempt!
Now, hopefully, their actual grilling would be just as successful.

Everyone now gathered outside, where they were surprised to see a setup of chairs and tables, as well as a separate area which the maids were sprucing up.
That was actually where they would place the allocation of everyone, as well as any extras they could possibly have.
At first, Luca was actually concerned about the number of grills they could possibly build, but Cece reassured him that those grills would be erected there hell or high water!
And they really were. Now, they had about twenty large grills that were being overseen by the staff, who had been freshly briefed by Cece.
It all sounded novel to them, for most humans wouldn’t really randomly go around and light campfires on planets where they weren’t sure if anything would just explode on them.
So most people haven’t really heard of outdoor grilling, and with this many people, too!
Which was why they were taken aback when Luca told them that the grill wasn’t created equally.
For one, the fuel, which in this case was the wood chunks that were still from Tortie’s deforestation, should be placed in the middle of the large rectangular grill so that multiple people could use both the upper and lower parts as the cold side.
"If you place the food on here, it would give it a nice sear, provided you don’t move it while it’s there. But it has to be taken off and placed on this side once it’s close to being done, or it would end up burning." Luca repeated the same explanation he originally gave to Cece as he first chose a grill to lay down several foil-wrapped milk fish.
The people, now including the staff, followed Luca around with their heads as he flew back into the table and pulled out the spiny lobster he had cleaned earlier.
It was huge and was reborn in the eyes of those who managed to taste the boiled lobster, as it now looked meatier than ever, as if a filter had been placed over their eyes.
"Now, for this one, you might want to put salt and pepper over the meat before brushing on oil so that it doesn’t stick to the grill."
Well, I guess that’s another thing to be thankful for. Thought the older Nox as he continued seasoning as told.
