The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL] novel Chapter 379

Chapter 379: Festivities

Noah Emory did not expect this kind of turnout or gathering.

Frankly, he and Theo worried about what to wear and about etiquette, which they knew Ada and Princess Kira wouldn’t have issues with. But as commoners, they couldn’t help but worry, as this would be their first party at the invitation of actual elite nobles.

But what was this?

The cadet blinked around as he looked at the insanely festive atmosphere, where people were too relaxed to be mistaken for uptight people.

Though maybe that was an overstatement, as a particular area was rife with people standing at attention while waiting for those two huge mechas to direct them towards glory.

Now, Noah knew he should really stop being surprised, but it was one thing to take commands from a mecha, and another thing to see that the supposed pilots and owners were out there sitting at a huge table while their mechas did their OWN thing.

Yes, those were definitely not the sounds of Luca or Xavier’s voice, so just what were they?

However, he had no time to dwell on those questions because Jax suddenly went up to them to invite them over after handing them their very own grilling supplies.

Beside him, Princess Kira gasped at the items because she didn’t think they’d all be given their own. But now she understood why the people around those mechas didn’t thin out!

It was because they were being given the chance to cook and eat their food whenever they felt like it.

"Ada! You must go there and learn how to do this! We must not fail!" said the Princess, who took stock of everything on her plate.

Now, Theo was looking at his and had to ask Jax about anything else they ought to know, which got the redhead grinning.

"Theo, see that side? So you’ve got a few items on your plate that don’t need grilling, like the grilled fish that was prepared earlier."

"But the stars of the show need to pass through that side to shine."

"However, it would take a while, so I suggest you remember exactly where you placed your food on the grill while you munch on the grilled vegetables!"

"Though there’s also a fresh salad section if you want that or fruits!"

Jax knew there were really so many things to talk about, but if he went into detail about the best way to get the perfect grill marks, then the poor guy won’t be able to eat anything!

But before he left them to check out the place, he reminded them to look for Luca later, as he had a few things he wanted to give them and, well, warn them about.

"..."

The cadet then disappeared after a signal from D-29, who gave Jax a bit of special treatment as he didn’t have to stand with everyone else to know if his food was ready. And although it came with a promise of greater viewing technology from his family, the redhead thought it was all worth it. (?!)

And it was, because today was such a good day to celebrate, as the list kept on getting longer.

For one, when they finished making the boxed lunches for the guards on duty, a few of them nearly cried after learning that they’d basically be able to eat at their own convenience, and as a party favor, they’d be able to take home the lunch box provided they returned the skewers.

Second, despite the tears of the envious, the people of House Kyros who managed to attend the actual celebration were clearly in agreement in glorifying their Lords.
