Nolan replied, “It’s all thanks to the information you provided earlier. That leader of the other race, the one you put a spider on, indeed brought another group with him. They’re not many, but their sorcery is extremely powerful. One of them is even an elder. If these were the ones at the banquet, the royal family would have been caught in their trap long ago.”

The information Eliza provided had come from Gilbert.

She had made a deal with Gilbert, asking him to help investigate the cause of her mother’s death and gather evidence.

Secondly, Gilbert had found out that Zoie’s people were also part of the Soulbind Tribe, and the tribe’s leader was the daughter of the previous Sorceress of the Soulbind Tribe.

Third, the Soulbind Tribe was preparing to send someone to Bortenland to find a new Sorceress and then “kill” her. From the information Gilbert sent, Eliza quickly deduced that the new Sorceress was likely Sophie.
